I decided to try out something new with the holozing art. This is was the creation of a powder art of the female ocean healer. This community is sparking our creativity and it won't be bad to engage it at its best.
While trying to make this art, it was fun but I got lashed by friends that saw it. One of the reasons it took a longer time to finish and publish it.
typically, powder painting is the art of using ground glass in powdered form to create kiln-formed glass art. I didn't have ground glass so I decided to grind my crayon and use it for the art. It looks more like a sculpture.
Below is my working desk.
- Working board
- Printed Helaer sketch
- Grater
- Crayons
- liquid gum
- Painter's brush
I used the local kitchen grater to grate the crayons into powder. I was not fine in texture to give it a rough feel.
To create the design, I applied liquid transparent gum to the printed sketch of the healer.
I poured the grated colour (starting with blue, then black) on the image that has been wetted with the liquid gum. Blue and black are the major colours of the healer.
I then used the brush to dust out excess powder colors off the healer's image.
To give the nude skin colour to the healer, I used nude colour paint to give it a good finish.
It turned out more beautiful than I had thought.
I hope my art will also find its way into this hallmark of hiloizing's creativity bag.
