HELLO DEAR HOLO-BUDDIES!
How have you been everyone?😁 I hope all of you are doing great and enjoying the day! I was gone for a bit because I've gotten so busy with things here and there... but now I'm again share my new fanart entry! yeyy!👏 This time I'm doing a fanart of Female forest healer given wwater whale a gentle hug underwater. I hope you guys like it!😁❤️
THE MATERIALS USED AND THE PROCESS
Materials used:
- iPad
- apple pencil (Model: A1603)
- Procreate
Process:
In the process of making this fanart, it took me around 4-6 hrs to finally finish the peice. This includes the sketching of the template as well as the coloring and rendering of the final piece. While showing you my art process, I will also be giving you a bit of realizations while using a new divice for my artworks.
When I was told that I will recive an Ipad from my sister, I really had mixed fieelings. Of course I was really happy but a part of me was also worried that I might not be able to succeed in this journey and maybe this passion id similar to infatuation that would eventually burnsout. Well it is here now, and all I can do now is give it my best and see the rest through. Anyways, in making the template as you can see theres a lot of searching lines becauuse I am still a beginner and its pretty normal (as somee pro artist that I follow says).
After finaizing my line art, I proceeded with putting collors on the brackground and then painting the base colors of walle and forest healer. In doing this Im atleast able to imagine how the final scene in my artwork would look like.
Here I tried my best to create water reflection in the top of the water and also make put the shadows fos both forest healer an walle. I was accidentally merges my later in redering the hair so I cant really the process. And after this parts it was focus mode in rendering the piece.
Here I added the highlights. I tried to emphasie the shiny back of walle as well as the glow on forest healer's hair when it was hit by the light that penetrated the water.
Here I added more details such as the light bouncing of the back of walle and rendered some details using the textured bursh avalable in procreate. Some highlights was also added inthe water surface to add more details, and to add more emotion to the piece, I added highlight in the eyes of walle since it is the centerpiece of this fanart... it really added more story in the scene.
And the last part is adding my signiture 🤣
