How is everybody? 🥰
For this art, I was thinking of Forest Healer in a different hairstyle and clothing. She somewhat looks like a deity here. 😁
Art Process
First, sketch the pose and hair. I gave emphasis to the hair by giving extra details using thinner lines. I used a pen that had a thinner value on the edge by adjusting the "minimum value" on the setting of the brush. Adjusting the stabilizer also helped me to get the lines. I then lowered the opacity and started tracing for the lineart. Here, I separated the layer for the body and eyes so that I can adjust later.
On separate layers, I fill in the space with the base colors. Before applying the shadows, I used a flat brush to create the shines on the hair, and then, blur them out using a blur brush.
Next, I used a soft airbrush for the skin's blush and details of the clothing. Here comes the dramatic change of the character by giving shadows on the other side. I put all the layers in one folder and clipped a multiply mode layer. I adjusted the darkness by using an airbrush. On top of it, I added a soft glow.
Final Art
Since the character itself is already detailed, I only used a color background in the gradient. For extra detail, I put some leaves in gaussian blur. Masked the canvass with noise filter in 10 percent opacity.
Finished art! 🥰
