Happy Sunday, y'all! 😊

Thank God for the weekend, I can draw! πŸ˜† I had a hectic week and got sick for two days. πŸ˜… Sucks to be sick coz I was just in bed all day sleeping. But anyway~ Say goodbye to August! Hello, September! Oh, gosh, Ber-months are here so, play those Christmas songs, haha! Well, that's just a little update about me.

So now that I am alive, here is my art of Forest healer watching fireworks.

As usual, sketch the pose of the body and the details first. I changed the facial expression many times before arriving at the final one. It was mostly the case when sketching. I switched to a rough pencil texture brush for the lineart distributing different weights depending on the placement of the line.

To my fellow artists out there, how do you draw? I mean, do you base on technicalities or just by feeling the art? I know some artists who do not care about color theories and palettes are just go with how they feel about their works.

Next, fill the spaces with the base colors. Those inverted hearts hair accessories is inspired by Nami on Wano Arc. 😊 Idk, but the color palette for the clothing was supposed to be inspired by Zingu, but I do not think it's recognizable. πŸ˜…

Those people that I know did not attend any art school. They just learned from the internet and observing. I too was self-thought. Up to this day, I want to enroll myself but would choose specific subjects and artstyles.

On clipped layers above the base layers, I used a soft flat brush for the renderinf of the share and of the clothing.

Final Art

I chose a dark blue color for the background to create a dramatic contrast for the fireworks to stand out. The fireworks were done using a special brush, duplicating and merging the layers to intensify it. Integrating the character by applying the same glow effect using a flat brush and airbrush. Adding some light streaks and bokeh in front for extra detail and incorporating texture.

Finished art. 😁
