HELLO! GOOD MORNING!
how's everyone doing? I hope everyone's doing great!
as for me, I’m slowly getting over the flu and sticking to my meds and lots of sleep. I really hope I’ll be fully better before November rolls around. Even though I'm trying to step back from the digital world, I can't help but work on the Zingtober challenges. I'm always late, but I keep coming up with ideas for the prompts and feel the urge to draw them, even though I probably should be resting more.
DRAWING PROCESS
My forte as an artist is drawing doodles, and this drawing of mine right now is what I'm most confident about.
It's easy to come up with rusty ideas like a junkyard, which is what I had in mind when I thought of it.
to connect my doodle to zingtober I added forest healer sitting on the old rusty car, a story of him being confused of a rusty item he found in the area ~
FINAL DRAWING
Apart from the rusty-looking drawing, I added a rusty color to emphasize what I want to convey with this prompt. I also scattered some black and white elements throughout the background to prevent it from looking too flat and to create a windy atmosphere. do you think I gave it justice? hahaha!
I really find this drawing satisfying. It looks like a version of what I usually draw in traditional art, but with different figures.
There is still much to improve with the color, but in the future, I will address what needs improvement as a digital artist.
