Holozing Forest Healer in Cat Ears Fanart

Hello! How are you? How's Valentine's Day? For me, it is still the same just another day LOL. I just ate what my mom received from Valentine's it is good though. So for today's fanart, I drew Forest Healer in cat ears. I love green and red so what if I combine those two colors it was Valentine's yesterday so yeah I did the background design in red.

The Process:

My lineart for the first layer is so messy and it is messing with my head but still, I keep thinking it is going to get better later, which is a relief for me LOL. Sometimes when I start with a messy sketch I tend to stop right and move on with life and forget that art, but I guess I am in a good mood. By the way, I used marker detail for my sketch and line art.

For this part, I added the base colors with their layer for easy rendering later and I used a shape-fill brush to add the base color which made my life easier. After I added the base color I added texture to my canvas, what I do is I add a "fill layer" and then choose the pattern "default-paper" After that I set the blending mode of that layer to soft light and lastly I lower the opacity to 30%. Boom! textured canvas.

Before I start rendering I lower the opacity of the line art for me to see what imperfection I need to fix later in the process of rendering. I used an airbrush soft which is one of my favorite brush to use. I first rendered the skin and added redness to her to make the skin more lively doing that makes everything look done. After that, I rendered the other part and added shadow, shades, and color. And I darken the background so that I can render with ease.

For this part, I added more details on her and when I was pretty sure I added all the details that I would no longer need the line art I hid it, and then I focused I adding detail on the hair like strands of hair to make it look lively and semi-realistic I used a brush I always use the "rake bristle dry"

For the final rendering, I added the red background and I added a watercolor strong to make it more not flat and then I added a yellow outline around her for the final stroke.
