En esta oportunidad quiero compartir una pequeña ilustración basada en el personaje Grass Racoon, pero para variar un poco y hacerlo mas divertido, me propuse realizar a una chica kawaii con los rasgos de este personaje, haciendo una versión humanizada del mismo.

This time I want to share a little illustration based on the character Grass Racoon, but to vary a little and make it more fun, I decided to make a kawaii girl with the features of this character, making a humanized version of it.
I hope you like this little reinterpretation of the character! 😃

Creative Process | Proceso Creativo✏️

Como siempre comenzamos este proceso con el boceto, aquí comencé haciendo una especie de boceto supersucio el cual me sirvió para ubicar y dar una vista general de cómo sería el personaje. Luego bajé su opacidad y con un pincel tipo lápiz fui definiendo al personaje en varias capas. Este tendría las orejas de mi referencia y opté por ponerle una camisa con un gran lazo.

As always we start this process with the sketch, here I started by making a kind of super-dirty sketch which helped me to locate and give an overview of what the character would look like.
Then I lowered its opacity and with a pencil brush I defined the character in several layers. This one would have the ears of my reference and I chose to put him a shirt with a big bow.

Terminadas las líneas, en una nueva capa rellene al personaje con un color violeta, esto me sirvió como base para agregar los colores base sin salirme del límite.
Luego realicé las sombras generales y algunas luces con un pincel tipo aerógrafo; admito que no me gustó mucho el acabado, pero decidí confiar en el proceso.

Once the lines were finished, in a new layer I started to fill the character with a violet colour, this served me as a base to add the base colours without going out of this limit.
Then I did the general shadows and some highlights with an airbrush; I admit I didn't like the finish, but I decided to trust the process.

Después comencé a aplicar las iluminaciones, aquí me tome algo de tiempo ya que debía corregir algunos errores previos. Opte por usar un pincel con un acabado mas duro para el resto de la ilustración. Coloque el fondo de color blanco y realice un rectángulo color verde claro, viendo en perspectiva para dar un acabado mas divertido a la ilustración.

Then I started to apply the highlights, here I took some time as I had to correct some previous mistakes. I opted to use a brush with a harder finish for the rest of the illustration. Place the white background and make a light green rectangle, looking in perspective to give a more fun finish to the illustration.

Para finalizar agregue unas estrellas dentro del rectángulo y aplique un pequeño degradado dentro de este para crear una transición de oscuro a claro.
