Hello guys!
I decided to draw light healer female version this time. The lighting condition I chose this time is a bit different. As you guys know I'm trying out different difficult lighting conditions to improve my skills. The theme was to draw the light healer sitting on some bright clouds in the sky so this one was a bit tough if I'm being honest. Although I somehow managed to finish it at the end. You guys be the judge so here it is :)
The Process
- Made a rough sketch using this reference I found from Pinterest.
- Made a clean lineart form it later on
- Painted in the base colours
- Started shading according to the source of light.
- Started blending and blurring some edges to make it look more 3 dimensional
- Rendered the lips and added the highlights on her skin
- Started working on her clothes
- Added shades on her hair and tweaked the clothes colour to a red tint.
- Added highlights on her hair and some light hair strands
- Added more white strands on one side on add layer and used airbrush or make it glow
The Result
Finally when I was done with rendering I tweaked the colours again using tone curve. Added some sparkles around her and changed her colour tone to resemble gold along with other minor changes
