This was a rainy and dark afternoon, but little by little, the clouds "parted" to create an interesting scene. If some ancient god had descended in a flaming chariot, it wouldn’t have looked out of place at all. It’s amazing to witness time and time again the infinite malleability of clouds and their ability to create scenes that we can almost recognize from a book or movie.
Not every day is so scenic, but this other photo was taken at midday, and the contrast makes the shadows of the houses seem darker than they actually are. Suddenly, it feels like we’re all living in caves...
Usually, we have clear skies and a lot of blue.
Or clouds that just drift aimlessly, unsure of where they’re going while the mango trees wait for the rain, as some say all clouds should do.

Esta fue una tarde lluviosa y oscura, pero poco a poco las nubes se "abrieron" para dar lugar a una escena interesante. De haber descendido algun dios antiguo en su carroza flamante no habría desentonado en lo absoluto. Es asombroso comprobar una y otra vez la infinita maleabilidad de las nubes y su capacidad para crear escenas que casi podemos reconocer de algún libro o película.
No todos los días son tan escénicos, pero esta otra fue tomada en pleno mediodía y el contraste hace que la sombra de las casas parezca mas oscura de lo que en realidad es. De repente parece que todos habitamos cuevas...
Por lo general tenemos cielos despejados y mucho azul.
O nubes que solo ruedan sin tener muy claro a donde van mientras los mangos esperan por la lluvia, como dicen algunos que debe ser toda nube.
