Hello cloud lovers. Let's welcome Round 202 of the Love The Clouds Contest hosted by @tobetada. If you have not heard of this yet, check out the contest post here. Do read up and join us in this awesome challenge.
I saw this cloud late afternoon last week at the parking lot of the Victoria Plaza, a shopping mall at the heart of downtown Davao City, Philippines. It was the only cloud in the sky and it looked to me like a mushroom cloud, the kind that follows a nuclear bomb explosion. Images of the disasters that follow such deadly cloud came to mind and I just was so relieved that this was just a harmless, fluffy white cumulus passing through.
I took some pictures of this peaceful and serene heavenly spectacle, thinking of the Love The Cloud Contest. I then went inside the mall, bought a few things and went out to get my car for the trip home. The cloud was still there but had drifted and shifted a bit. Again, it looked to me like the nuke cloud beginning to explode and create havoc and destruction to an unsuspecting community.
Of course, my imagination sometimes gets the better of me. Thank goodness this lovely cloud is just as safe and fluffy as a ball of cotton. Wish I could touch and dive right in the middle of it. Tht would be fun.
And that's it for this post. Wishing you all a safe and blessed rest of the week ahead.
