Every day, when I wake up in the morning, I go to the balcony of the apartment where I live and look at the sky and the sunrise. And there I thank God for another day of life. Watching that wonderful layer that is covering and protecting life on our planet and noticing the changes that occur throughout the day and night, because it is very dynamic, is a routine that helps me recharge my energy to start the day.
I really like the rain, and seeing the cloudiness or clarity of the sky tells me if there is a chance of rain.
This morning, at 6 a.m., I observed these cloud formations. They look like cotton balls, some are very white and others are gray, one after the other, and in some places they are blurring, covering, as far as my eyes can see, almost the whole sky.
I find them beautiful and subtle, and when the sunlight became more intense, their white color contrasted with the blue of the sky.
When researching this type of cloud, I found it interesting to know that clouds are classified by their appearance and height and that they are not only formed by water vapor but also by water droplets and/or ice crystals.
The ones I show in the photographs seem to be the so-called altocumulus, which are clouds located at medium altitudes. And these can be a precondition for the development of a thunderstorm.
During the course of the day, these clouds disappeared and the sky cleared. Now at night, looking at the sky from the balcony, I see that there is a large blanket of gray clouds. Will it rain?... I hope so.

Nubes como motas de algodón
Todos los dias cuando me levanto en las mañanas, voy al balcón del apartamento donde vivo y miro el cielo, el amanecer. Y allí agradezco a Dios por otro dia de vida. Observar esa maravillosa capa que está cubriendo y protegiendo la vida en nuestro planeta y darme cuenta de los cambios que se producen a lo largo del día y de la noche, porque es muy dinámica, es una rutina que me ayuda a recargarme de energías para comenzar el día.
Me gusta mucho la lluvia y ver la nubosidad o la claridad del cielo me dice si hay la posibilidad de que llueva.
Esta mañana, a las 6 am, observe estas formaciones de nubes Parecen motas de algodón,algunas son muy blancas y otras grises,una a continuación de la otra y en algunos lugares se van difuminando, cubriendo hasta donde mi vista alcanza, casi todo el cielo.
Me parecen hermosas y sutiles y cuando la luz del sol se hizo más intensa, su color blanco contrastaba con el azul del cielo.
Investigando sobre este tipo de nubes me pareció interesante saber que las nubes se clasifican por su aspecto y por la altura y que no solo están formadas por vapor de agua, sino también por gotitas de agua y/o cristales de hielo.
Las que muestro en las fotografías parecieran ser las llamadas altocúmulos, que son nubes ubicadas a alturas medias. Y estas pueden ser una condición previa al desarrollo de una tormenta.
En el transcurso del día estas nubes fueron desapareciendo y el cielo se fue despejando. Ahora en la noche, al observar el cielo desde el balcón, veo que hay un gran manto de nubes grises. ¿Lloverá?... espero que sí.
