Hubby and I were on a short visit to Ontario via airplane. The last time I had been on a plane was seven years ago. My main concern was having gum to chew when the pressure started bothering my ears. Luckily it was not that bad.
There were some awesome clouds below us as the plane descended.
I had the window seat and took a few photos with my phone.
In this one you can still see the earth below through the ring in the cloud.
Still above the clouds but getting closer to landing.
I love to be above the clouds, although it's been a much longer time since I was last on an airplane - I think it was before the kids were born. So I try to get above the clouds by hiking up mountains 😉

Hi Hannes. It was a nice visit but Red, the cat, was really mad at us when we got back home. The people and traffic seemed to have multiplied since I was last near Toronto.

our cats also always look mad at us when we leave them alone at home over night sometimes, but a few treats make them love us again 😁
I don't have much time at the moment, but I take advantage of every free day I get to go for a hike somewhere.

Above the clouds gives some lovely views through breaks, quite a feeling!
Gum is a must, good to hear the ears didn't suffer too much as that can make one quite uncomfortable.
Enjoy the stay last flight I had was 2007 some time back !LOLZ

It’s a big rigmarole to get on a plane with getting tickets, providing ID, getting boarding pass and through security. Wayne has almost strip searched because of his hip replacement setting off the alarm. We had a chuckle over that.
Looking down from above does give one the feeling of how small our precious planet is. I looked for aliens in the clouds but didn’t see any spaceships. 👽 😃

Flying is no longer fun like it once was, X-Rayed, searched then packed into sardine cans with wings.
Sad you missed them up there..., only ones I see of late are ruling down here, all Alien to me.

Thanks A.G @agmoore. With all the talk of delays in air flights I was a bit apprehensive but everything was on schedule. We landed in the busy airport at Toronto and Wayne’s brother was outside to pick us up. We had a lovely visit.
Weather has been pleasant the last few days with less humidity. Hope you are having the same.
