Another day, another chance at earning starbits and finding some well priced cards on the market. I'd say today went well as I managed to level up to 39, putting me just 1 level behind from starting on my new mission grind of Record a Demo. A day of grinding music lessons and I could hit that in no time... Or I could go for some more cards.
While on my daily grind I managed to wring out another 4k starbits for the day. 1k less than yesterday, but who am I to complain? An average of 4k per day is still plenty to work with to build up my collection. I am, however, looking at increasing this soon as I would like to be able to invest more into record staking and actually purchasing some card packs. I'm not sure how much further I'll have to push my fan count up to get to something like 10k per day as each 100 fans only adds a few single digits to the top end of mission rewards. It'll either be a slow climb with cards, getting lucky with opening some packs packs, or just a lot of energy on standby.
The Elusive (?) Macy Card
A bit of a funny thing happened though. I had withdrawn my starbits because while I was browsing through the marketplace I came across this Macy card. My eyes deceived me as I thought I had spotted it for a low price of 4111 strabits and went to snatch it up. Half off? What a steal!
But, try as I might, I was unable to buy it for obvious reasons as I did a double take at the price... Kind of a bummer, but what can you do? After that I sat there debating whether or not I wanted to drop 6k starbits into some record staking or just go for a pizza box.

And sure enough, you can see with what I went with! I had been talking about grabbing one of these pizza boxes for quite a few months but just put it off because "I can always get it later". But since I've got it, I've already found and held an additional slice, so it has more than made up for its value in my opinion. I felt that it was important to go ahead and write this off my checklist, but I still may want to pick up an extra box or two just in case.
Ending
And finally, after all of that, we have the total mission count for the day. With the help of some pizza slices and the help of my new best friend (the Pizza Box), I was able to crank out a good 17 missions with 18 being in the works as we speak. Sadly there isn't a whole lot that I can do about speeding up the process of running through Saturday Headline missions, but I do what I can.
