Today was another slow day in the world of Rising Star as the pizza slices remain elusive. I started the day pretty strong, knocking out two Demo missions. These provided me with over half of my total starbits for the day which ended up being just slightly above 3300. Eugh. Even lower than yesterday.
While this seems pretty discouraging at first glance, this is also the 3rd day that I have started doing my new mission rotation. If I go ahead and add my starbits for the last three days, we can see that I really haven't been missing out on too much in terms of my average.
3300 + 3700 + 5700 = 12,700
12,700/3 = 4233
As it turns out, I'm still managing to maintain that 4k starbit per day average. But all it would take is an extra slice or two here or there and I could possibly get this average much closer to 5500 or higher.
Grabbing a new pack:
Since card prices are still so high in the market, there's just a lot of value in picking up card packs right now. I've been fairly lucky in not getting an instrument card I don't want or need. As long as I can keep hitting these rare people cards, or even an epic/vehicle card, I'll be set. Since I'm so close to hitting 4k permanent fans, I am going to go for one more card pack to (hopefully) seal that milestone in.
Once that is done, I will be picking up another energy card, whether it is another Slice or pizza box. I'm leaning more towards the pizza slice as of now, because on days like these I'm just stranded, waiting for my energy to come back once I have used it all up. After I get another slice, I'll probably pick up another box immediately after.
Stats:
Thanks to the new card pulls, I was able to gain a total of 110 extra permanent fans. This puts me just over 2% closer to reaching my goal of 5000 permanent fans. Its been a bit of a slow grind as of late thanks to pizza slices all but disappearing, but I'll be getting there nonetheless.

Ending:
It seems the UI for the achievements tab has changed a bit. I guess I like it a bit better since we can scroll down now instead of across, but the only thing I really dislike is how far apart each box is from one another. They just seem way too spread out.
But finally, There is the total mission count for the day. I managed to bring this up to 817, a gain of +16 from yesterday. Pizza slice withdrawal has once again kept the mission count low for the day, as well as the much lower starbit average. I'm hoping for an upswing in luck soon that isn't just nonstop pizza slices being found when I dont have a box available.
