Hello Splinterlandsers!
Today I want to share about a battle for weekly challenge! Theme : FLYING SQUID.
I found Splinterlands game to be one of the best games on the hive blockchain.
I became a Splinterlands game player.
I am currently playing in the Bronze III League.
As a new player, my rating is still very low.
I want to Share one of my battle. This battle is playing for the Weekly Challenge!. This is also my first post of sharing the weekly challenge battles.
This weekly challenge theme is FLYING SQUID
- THEME: FLYING SQUID
- Edition: CHAOS LEGION
- Rarity: COMMON
- Element: WATER
- Attack: MELEE
- Abilities: REACH
In the battle playing ,
- The battle rule is : Standard, Mana cost is 30 and we can use all type of summoners.
I choose the Water Summoner
My lineup are as below.
Attacked by Water Summoner, "KELYA FRENDUL"
- Reason for picking "KELYA FRENDUL", Her ability give to all friendly monsters have +1 Speed and +1 Shield.
In this battle, I want to have more shield for my choosing monsters. So, I choose KELYA FRENDUL for this battle. It is suitable choice for using appropriate mana cost battles.
My Line Up are as below:-
Position (1) SERPENT OF ELD: Mana 7, Speed 4, Melee attack 3, Shield 2, lives 5. He is a good tanker and nice to use in most of the battles.
Position (2) FLYING SQUID : Mana 7, Speed 3, Melee attack 2, Shield 0, lives 8. It is a good "Reach" ability attacker.
Position (3) ICE PIXIE : Mana 2, Speed 3, Magic Attack 1, Shield 0, live 1. She is a good support Magic attacker, her ability is "Flying".
Position (4) DEEPLURKER : Mana 6, Speed 2, Melee Attack 3, Shield 0, live 6. He is a good "Opportunity" attacker, good damage is his special.
Position (5) ANGELIC MANDARIN : Mana 3, Speed 2, Range Attack 1, Shield 0, live 5. He is a good range attacker. I use him as a range attack supporter for my back row team
Position (6) HARDY STONEFISH : Mana 1, Speed 1, Melee Attack 1, Shield 1, lives 1. I choose him as a damage reducer.

In the battle play:-
My opponent team is face with me using Death Summoner. His attack team seem good and Strong. His back row attackers are complex with Magic and Melee attackers. His line up is a good line up.
Let's see the Battle Rounds

In this 1st and 2nd rounds, We both team are competing each other. By the attacks of opponent team's snipe magic attacker and sneak attackers, my team fall the last place and third place attackers. The other side, opponent team loose only one attacker. So, at the end of the round two, my team left four team-mate and enemy team left five.

In this 3rd and 4th rounds, my team's attackers are trying to knock down the opponent team attackers. My team lost the main tanker. The enemy team lost one of his back row sneak attackers. After some moves, his strong tank is fall again. Now opponent team is left three attackers and my team left only two.

In this rounds 5th and 6th, In the round 5, my team theme attacker "FLYING SQUID" show his attacking power and fall in this round.
In this condition, Opponent team left two attacker and my team left only one attacker.

In this rounds 7th and 8th, We both team were left only one attackers. But my team attacker's damage is higher than the opponent team's attacker. So at the round 8 my team last attacker is finish the opponent team last attacker. The battle is end with victory for my team.
Review for my battle
The opponent team is:- He had a Strong tanker at the front of the team and back row are Magic, Range, Sneak attackers. In the battle condition we both team are equal power.
In my team :- Tank at the front was Strong tanker, damage reducers keep the opposing team busy and create opportunities and reach attacks for my team to gain the upper hand. In this battle My team is showing the whole team power. FLYING SQUID's attacks are evident throughout the match.
My team total team power is show as my lineup is work well.In later matches, I will confidently used FLYING SQUID. I suggested that:- FLYING SQUID is a good to choice for use in appropriate mana cost Water Elemental battles. I like his "Reach" ability attacks and easy to team with other Water Elemental monsters.
