Hello Splinterlandsers!
Today I want to share my battle for weekly challenge! DRAGONS.
This is my Second Post of about this weekly challenge, DRAGONS.
The Twilight Basilisk is one of the fiercest predators that lives in the sands surrounding the Draykh-Nahka city of Centrum.
They are considered reptiles in the snake family, although some older residents of the Dragon Splinter think of them as Dragon relatives.
Basilisks are the largest type of snake in the Splinterlands, but it only takes a small amount of their venom to kill a bronk.

Battle Rule
- Standard : No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics.
- Mana Cost 26
- Allow Summoner : All Elements.
Battle Rule is standard, we can use all Elemental Summoners. Mana Cost is appropriate.
I have to choose Lineup carefully. I think the opponent team is likely to use with the Water Summoner or Death Summoner.
Most of player are using Water or Death Summoners at this mana cost. So I decided to use the Dragon summmoner with Death Splinter.
SUMMONER : Dragon Summoner(DRAKE OF ARNAK) +Death Splinters
- Reason for Picking: In this battle, DRAKE OF ARNAK, He is a good Summoner for appropriate mana cap battles. I want to use his powerful Dragon Shields. By the complex of Dragons and Life splinters power are nicely to use most of battles.
- Reason for Picking: CURSED WINDEKU
(Mana cost 6, speed 3, Melee attack 2, shield 0 and lives 9, with ability "Thorns")
It is a Rare card of Death Units.
I like his Melee attack damages and his specially ability "Thorns" is very effected in battle rounds.
I use him for damage back to the attacker by his ability.
It is nice to use as a 1st place tank for Death elemental line up.
I guess , It is suitable for this battle.
- Reason for Picking: Twilight Basilisk
( Mana cost 4, Speed 3, melee attack 1, lives 3 and shield 1) .
It is a Rare card of Dragon units.
I use him for good second attacker because of his "Reach" ability.
So he is a good second fighter in this battle rounds.
I want to know how the power is showing Dragon + Death splinters. So I do choosing this Dragon splinter at second place position.
- Reason for Picking: DEATH ELEMENTAL
(Mana cost 3, speed 3, Magic attack 1 and lives 2 ).
His ability is "Snipe" and his snipping magic attack is very support in battles.
I choose him as a magic attack supporter for my attack team.
- Reason for Picking: SILENT SHA-VI
(Mana cost 5, Speed 3, Melee attack 2 and lives 5 ).
He is a good Melee attacker. He have "Sneak" abilitie and his speedy melee attacks were good support in battle fields.
I choose him as a melee attacker for my team.
- Reason for Picking: NAGA ASSASSIN
(Mana cost 2, Speed 5, Range attack 1 and lives 2 ).
It is also a Rare card of Dragon units.
She is a good range attack supporter. Her speedy range attacks are very useful at battle.
I choose him as a range attack supporter for my team.
- Reason for Picking: UNDEAD BADGER
(Mana cost 2, Speed 3, Melee attack 1 and lives 1 ).
I choose him as a damage reducer supporter for my back team. His ability is "sneak" and his speedy melee attacks are nice.
Let's See BATTLE ROUNDS
Game Rules:
- Standard : No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics.
- Mana Cost 26
- Allow Summoner : All Elements.
Battle Rounds
[ROUND- 1]
At the start of the first round after seeing my enemy used also using Dragon Summoner + Death Elementals. His team line up is strong tank, damage reducer supporter, two of sneak attackers, magic and at the last place is range attacker. So his team was prepared with strong line up.
At this first round, my team was knock down enemy team's last place range attacker and also my team last place is fall too. We both team are competing in this round.
[ROUND- 2]
- In this round two, enemy's snipe magic attacker is knock down my team's magic attacker and my team knock down his main tanker. Opponent team second tank is start defencing. At the end of this round, my team left four attackers and opponent team left four attackers too.
[ROUND- 3]
- In this round three, My team tanker is still strong. It is good condition for my team. In this battle round opponent team's supporter with "Scavenger" is as a tank. He can be very troublesome to my team. At this round three, my team fall my range attacker(dragon unit) and opponent team also loose his last place magic attacker.
[ROUND- 4]
In this round four, we both team were same power condition. My tank is low health position and back row melee attackers are still strong. We both team are competing each other. In this round the second place attacker "Twilight Basilisk" dragon attacker was showed his nice attacking powers.
[ROUND- 5]
In this round five opponent team loose his "Scavenger" tanker and one of sneak attacker. His team left only one melee attacker. My team stand with low health tanker and two melee attacker after him. In this condition next round six tend to the end of battle.
[ROUND- 6]
In this round six, It is clearly to see the winner team. After some attacks, battle is end with victory for me.
Until the last minute, this battle is led me to an exciting battle.

Battle Results Reaction:
- My team : An excellent whole team performance that leads my team to victory. With the combination of Dragon and Death splinters, the whole team power is up. The speedy attacker of Melee, Reach and Sneak attacker at the behind Tanker are show their full powers. The damage reducer supporter in particular was well supported. That was a good lineup for an Dragon + Death Elemental Team for appropriate mana cost battles.
- Opponent team : His line up is complex with strong tank, damage reducer, magic, "Scavenger", range and main Sneak attackers. After the fall of his main tanker, the remain attackers are going to weak. But I support that his line up is very strong Death elemental line up too.
Telling about My lineup
- The main point for appropriate mana cost battle is choosing the fasted attackers with good damage attacks. If you have "Thorns" or "Shield" ability tanker, you must choose him exactly. In this battle, I choose my tanker with "Thorns" ability. My lineup are consists of 1 melee attack tanker with "Thorns" ability. Then follower monsters as 1 melee attacker with "Reach" ability ( the dragon unit ), 1 support magic attacker with "snipe" ability, 1 range attacker with good speed and damage and then damage reducers at the last place. I guess, this lineup is best for "Dragon + Any Elemental Team" battles. I use my lineup which depend on battle rules.
My strategy work?
Yes it did work as the Dragon + Death Elemental. In the battle field, with thorns ability tanker provides a good strong tank positions for melee attacks battles. The second place dragon attacker with "reach" ability is support the team attack damages. In this battle "DRAGONS+DEATH" splinters are show their perfect attacking powers. However, it is the collective strength of the whole team that makes a team strong. I like Dragon + any other elemental line up.
What will you try differently next time?
In later matches, "DRAGONS" will be used in many other line-ups with other Summoners. I would love to twist some changes. But for now I like that lineup to work as it's really a good combination for appropriate mana cost battles. I want to meet more amazing Battles with"DRAGONS".
Do you like the "DRAGONS"? Why or why not?
I'm in the Bronze Leagues, I love to use "DRAGONS" because of they can easily combine with other elemental monsters. It can join with other attackers and team up a strong line up. We believe in their special dragon abilities.
In the future, I will try to use it on higher leagues as soon as I find my way as well to climb up there first.
