As a child, I remember my father always made sure to buy the Guinness World Records book in its annual edition, and it was truly entertaining to have it as a reference book when curiosity struck my brother or me.
In fact, sometimes dad would challenge us to find a curious fact in the small book to discuss, encouraging in us that eagerness to learn a bit more about things that are more general knowledge, but that gave us a glimpse of the limits that humans have been able to surpass.

Now as an adult, we have the ease of the internet to look up any data that may have been classified by this record book, so when curiosity strikes, I turn to the computer to google it.
That's why in an effort to learn a little more about the limits surpassed in terms of body transformations related to what this community deals with, I started a small research that I share with you.

Entering the search engine on the records page and typing the word Tattoo, I was impressed to find 5559 matches, so my curiosity increased to see how much could be done that would deserve to belong to that very select group of world situations selected for their significance.
Interesting facts like knowing that the first tattooed woman was in ancient Egypt, make us think a little about why there are still stigmas about this art on the skin, if it has been practiced for so many years.
I also saw that this page needs a bit of updating in its Spanish version, as when searching for the record of the woman with the most tattoos, Charlotte Guttenberg still appears, who held the record in 2017, but has been surpassed by Esperance Lumineska Fuerzina, who has 99.98% of her body tattooed, while Guttenberg appears with 98.75%... this is where we say that 1% can make a radical difference.

However, Guttenberg still holds the record for being the most tattooed older lady in the world, and looking at her photo, I believe she would be difficult to displace from this position.

De pequeña recuerdo que mi padre siempre estaba pendiente de comprar el libro de Records Guiness en su emisión anual, y era realmente entretenido tenerlo como un libro de referencia cuando la curiosidad nos invadía a mi hermano o a mi.
Inclusive, a veces papá nos retaba a buscar en el pequeño libro algún dato curioso, para hablar sobre ello, incentivando en nosotros ese afán de saber un poco más cosas que son más de cultura general, pero que nos daban una visión sobre los límites que los humanos han sido capaces de superar.

Ahora ya de adulta tenemos la facilidad del internet para consultar algún dato que pueda haber sido catalogado por este libro de records, por lo que al tener la curiosidad, acudo a la computadora para googlearlo.
Es por eso que en un ejercicio de saber un poco más sobre los límites superados en cuanto a las transformaciones corporales relacionados a los que trata esta comunidad, comencé una pequeña investigación que les comparto.

Al entrar en el buscador de la página de records y colocar la palabra Tattoo, me impresionó que habían 5559 coincidencias, por lo que mi curiosidad aumentó al ver qué tanto se podía hacer que mereciera pertenecer a ese grupo tan selecto de situaciones mundiales seleccionadas por lo representativo que poseen.
Datos interesantes como saber que la primera mujer tatuada fue en el antiguo egipto, nos hace pensar un poco en el por qué siguen existiendo estigmas sobre este arte en la piel, si se practica desde hace tantos años.
También pude ver que esta página necesita un poco de actualización en su versión en español, ya que al buscar el record de la mujer con más tatuajes, sigue apareciendo Charlotte Guttenberg, quien ostentaba el record en el año 2017, pero ya fue superada por Esperance Lumineska Fuerzina, quien tiene 99.98% de su cuerpo tatuado, mientras que Guttenberg aparece con 98.75%... es aquí cuando decimos que un 1% puede marcar radicalmente la diferencia.

Sin embargo, Guttenberg sigue manteniendo el record de ser la señora mayor más tatuada del mundo, y viendo su fotografía, creo que dificilmente la puedan desplazar de este puesto.
