When I read about the community initiative, the idea of tattoos that simply turned out poorly or did not resemble the client's envisioned outcome came to mind.
However, I think the term bizarre goes a bit beyond that concept, as something can be perfectly well-done but still be classified as bizarre simply because it doesn't fit the aesthetic or utilitarian standards for which it was supposedly created.
For example, a square spoon, instead of the familiar semicircle shape, could be classified as strange or bizarre if other unique details were added to it.
So bizarre tattoos can also be those that we can't quite categorize within the known, and there are many of those out there, just by observing those who sport them on their bodies.

While browsing the web, I found one that amused me quite a bit, especially because many people tend to get their partner's name tattooed, and when the relationship ends, they either get a cover-up or laser removal if they have the means. But in this case, it seemed to be a shopping list, with items being crossed off once purchased!
I also found another that might be a bit creepy since it simulates a person with a double face, not out of hypocrisy but as the actual design of their tattoo. Could it be their conscience speaking out in response to a question?

And although I didn't find any photographic evidence of it, tattoos done in particularly strange areas fall under the category of bizarre. Getting inked on places like the anus, gums, or inside the ear would indeed be quite a bizarre act, wouldn't you agree?
Cuando leí sobre la iniciativa de la comunidad, me vino a la mente la idea de tatuajes que simplemente quedaron mal hechos, o que no se asemejan a la idea que tenía el cliente sobre el resultado final.
Sin embargo, el término bizarro creo que va un poco más allá de ese concepto, ya que algo puede estar perfectamente bien hecho, pero catalogarse como bizarro, por el simple hecho de no encajar en los estándares estéticos o utilitarios para lo que supuestamente fue creado.
Por ejemplo, una cucharilla cuadrada, en lugar de tener la forma de semi círculo como la conocemos, puede ser catalogada como extraña, o bizarra, si a ello se le agregan otros detalles que la harían única.
Así que los tatuajes bizarros, también pueden ser aquellos a los que no logramos catalogar dentro de lo ya conocido, y de esos, muchos son los que existen, basta con detallar a quienes ostentan alguno en su cuerpo.

Revisando en la web, encontré uno que me causó bastante gracia, sobre todo porque muchas personas suelen colocarse el nombre de su pareja, y cuando la relación se termina, o bien hacen un cover o lo borran con láser, si tienen los recursos, pero en este caso, pareciera ser una lista de mercado, en la que se van tachando los artículos que ya fueron adquiridos!
También encontré otro que puede resultar un tanto "creepy" pues simula una persona con doble cara, pero no por hipocresía, sino que el diseño de su tatuaje es justamente eso. Será que es la voz de su conciencia manifestándose ante alguna pregunta?

Y aunque no encontré alguna muestra fotográfica sobre ello, los tatuajes en zonas particularmente extrañas, entran dentro de la categoría de lo bizarro, pues tatuarse las zonas como el ano, las encías o el interior de la oreja, en lo particular sería realmente un acto bastante bizarro, no lo creen?
