Hello my people. It's my first time posting content in this community and although I'm almost at the deadline, I couldn't pass this initiative by.
Today I want to tell you about the first time I got a tattoo, I was quite nervous. I got a tattoo when I was 28 years old and it is worth mentioning that I did it in secret from my whole family who don't approve of tattoos. I love sunflowers and therefore I wanted to represent my love for them with a beautiful tattoo that I drew myself. When I felt the needle of the tattoo machine in my skin for the first time, I thought it was going to be more traumatic but no, it was very pleasant. The truth is that I liked the sensation and I want to get tattooed again. My dream is to have my left arm tattooed with small symbolic tattoos.
I grew up under the stigma implanted by my family that tattooed people are criminals, they don't get jobs and thousands of other buts. Nothing could be further from the truth than that premise. As I have been living in Tenerife for almost four years now, it is so common to see so many people with tattoos that it seems a requirement to live here. Besides their good physical condition; I see policemen, security chiefs, the National Guard, people who work in banks, in supermarkets and most of their representatives are tattooed.
For me the tattoo is a kind of representation of art embodied in the skin of who carries a drawing representative of something or someone who has marked his life. People are free to tattoo whatever they want and use whatever area of their body they want to capture this art but I would give a resounding NO to the area of the chest, neck and face. There are many people who over the years have had their tattoos in these areas lasered off due to social circumstances.
When getting a tattoo you must be conscious and sure of the idea you want to capture on your skin because even though nowadays there is a laser to erase tattoos, if you want to get a tattoo it must be something really meaningful. However, we must make sure that we choose very well the person who tattoos us and check very well that his workplace is completely clean, spotless and neat.
I think my next tattoo will be my son's name. I am very excited about this. Well, with nothing more to say about this wonderful initiative about the world of tattooing, I say goodbye and look forward to my next participation in this amazing community.
