The art of a vacation plan at home
Hola mi gente bella de esta hermosa comunidad de @holos-lotus espero se encuentren bien.
Navegando por mi feed me he encontrado con esta hermosa iniciativa y aunque hace poco casualmente hablé del tema en la comunidad de #motherhood, esta oportunidad me pareció imperdible para volver a esta mi querida comunidad de #Holos-lutus de la mejor manera, hablando sobre mis pequeños.
Así que hoy quiero compartir con ustedes cómo es vivir las vacaciones con mis dos hijos, de 11 y 7 años, en casa. Como madre venezolana, estas semanas de descanso significan un desafío y una oportunidad para crear recuerdos inolvidables, pero también nos enfrentamos al inevitable monstruo del aburrimiento
Las vacaciones son un momento esperado por todos. Para los niños, es la oportunidad de alejarse de las tareas escolares y disfrutar de días libres llenos de diversión. Sin embargo, en esta etapa de descanso, también se presenta un reto que, como madre, debo aprender a manejar, el aburrimiento. Mis hijos, en su búsqueda constante de entretenimiento, a veces se encuentran preguntando “¿Qué hacemos ahora?” y ahí es donde entra mi papel como mediadora creativa, para ponerme manos a la obra e idear un magnífico plan vacacional en casa.
En estos momentos toca sacar mi lado mas ingenioso y en lugar de depender de la televisión o los videojuegos para mantener a mis hijos ocupados, trato de fomentar actividades que estimulen su creatividad y les permitan explorar el mundo que los rodea, así mismo me gusta crear actividades que desarrollen su agilidad mental y fomenten sus valores.
Aprovechar el tiempo en casa también significa redescubrir la importancia de los juegos tradicionales. En nuestra familia, hemos desempolvado juegos de mesa, cartas y rompecabezas. Estos momentos no solo son divertidos, sino que también fomentan la comunicación y el trabajo en equipo entre hermanos. A veces, una simple tarde jugando monopolio puede convertirse en una lección sobre la estrategia y la toma de decisiones. Son pequeñas cosas que al juntarse hacen un gran todo, un gran plan y nos unen de una manera increíble.
Sin embargo lo inevitable es que a medida que los días avanzan, es natural que mis hijos experimenten momentos de aburrimiento. En lugar de ver esto como un problema, he aprendido a verlo como una oportunidad para enseñarles a manejarlo. Les explico que el aburrimiento puede ser un impulso para la creatividad. Les animo a que busquen soluciones por sí mismos con las cuales poder enterrar este aburrimiento, ya sea dibujar, inventar historias o incluso jugar a hacer excursiones en el jardín.
Vivir las vacaciones con mis hijos puede ser un desafío, pero también es una experiencia enriquecedora. Cada día trae consigo nuevas oportunidades para aprender y crecer juntos. Aunque el aburrimiento puede ser un visitante frecuente, he aprendido a abrazarlo y convertirlo en una herramienta educativa.
Al final del día, lo más importante es disfrutar del tiempo en familia. Las risas compartidas, las historias contadas y los recuerdos creados son lo que realmente cuenta. Así que aquí estamos, navegando por estas vacaciones con amor, creatividad y un toque de paciencia.
Y aún quedan algunas cuantas semanas para compartir, entre mis planes de cine en casa, jugar a los chef y a los reposteros, armar y desarmar legos, crear cuentos y un millón de cosas más, podré hacer de estas vacaciones inolvidables para mis pequeños, creando mi propio plan vacacional casero.

Hello my beautiful people from this beautiful community of @holos-lotus I hope you are well.
Browsing through my feed I came across this beautiful initiative and although I recently casually talked about it in the #motherhood community, this opportunity seemed unmissable to me to return to this my beloved #Holos-lutus community in the best way, talking about my little ones.
So today I want to share with you what it's like to spend the holidays with my two children, ages 11 and 7, at home. As a Venezuelan mother, these weeks of rest are a challenge and an opportunity to create unforgettable memories, but we also face the inevitable monster of boredom.
Vacations are a time everyone looks forward to. For kids, it's a chance to get away from schoolwork and enjoy fun-filled days off. However, in this stage of rest, there is also a challenge that, as a mother, I must learn to manage: boredom. My children, in their constant search for entertainment, sometimes find themselves asking “What do we do now?” and that is where my role as a creative mediator comes in, to get to work and come up with a magnificent vacation plan at home.
At these times it's time to bring out my most ingenious side and instead of depending on television or video games to keep my children busy, I try to encourage activities that stimulate their creativity and allow them to explore the world around them, I also like to create activities that develop their mental agility and promote their values.
Taking advantage of time at home also means rediscovering the importance of traditional games. In our family, we've dusted off board games, cards, and puzzles. These moments are not only fun, but they also encourage communication and teamwork between siblings. Sometimes a simple afternoon playing monopoly can become a lesson in strategy and decision making. They are small things that when put together make a great whole, a great plan and unite us in an incredible way.
However, the inevitable thing is that as the days progress, it is natural for my children to experience moments of boredom. Instead of seeing this as a problem, I have learned to see it as an opportunity to teach them how to deal with it. I explain to them that boredom can be a boost to creativity. I encourage you to find solutions for yourself to bury this boredom, whether it's drawing, making up stories, or even playing excursions in the garden.
Living the holidays with my children can be a challenge, but it is also an enriching experience. Every day brings new opportunities to learn and grow together. Although boredom can be a frequent visitor, I have learned to embrace it and turn it into an educational tool.
At the end of the day, the most important thing is to enjoy family time. The laughter shared, the stories told, and the memories made are what really count. So here we are, navigating this holiday with love, creativity, and a touch of patience.
And there are still a few weeks left to share, between my home theater plans, playing chef and pastry chef, assembling and disassembling Legos, creating stories and a million other things, I will be able to make these vacations unforgettable for my little ones, creating my own homemade vacation plan.
