El humor para nosotros los venezolanos, es algo muy natural, es parte de nuestra cultura, inclusive forma tanta parte de nosotros, que hasta nos defendemos con un cuento picaresco o un chiste, es una forma de capear un temporal, o mejor dicho es una manera de afrontar los malos momentos o los problemas.

Hacer un chiste de las cosas que los pasan es muy natural, por ejemplo hacer cosas y exponernos al ridículo, causa gracia a muchos a veces la persona que hace em ridículo no lo aprecia, pero los demás se divierten a sus costas, pero hay otros casos en que la persona involucrada, disfruta de su ridículo y ríe a carcajada limpia y disfruta de lo gracioso del momento. Eso nos pasó a mi mamá y a mi, nosotras vivimos el terremoto de Cariaco, del año 1997 y no nos percatamos que en nuestro subconsciente quedó grabado el sonido del temblor de tierra, y estando en el teatro de las fuerzas armadas, en Caracas, en la graduación de mi hermano, llega un momento dentro del teatro que comienza un sonido igual al del terremoto (cuando se encendieron los aires acondicionados) y mamá y yo agarramos a mi hijo mayor, que en ese momento tenía 7 años y ya ibamos a comenzar a correr gritándo " terremoto...terremoto " sólo nos paró que no vinos a más nadie decir nada. Nos comenzamos a reír de nosotras mismas, hasta el sol de hoy disfrutamos un montón con ese cuento.
