Desarrollar la habilidad de resolver un problema desde la calma. ¡Sí es posible! Asumiendo calma como la plena responsabilidad que nos corresponde ante el problema y no como la intención de dejarlo todo para después.

Entonces, es imprescindible aprender a dejar de enfocarnos en aquella parte que aparenta ser una debilidad o en la que piensas no has alcanzado el éxito.

Por el contrario, es mejor enfocar la atención en lo que se va logrando a diario. En esas fortalezas que te pueden ayudar a solucionar el problema, porque tienen bases sólidas en tu Ser y te brindan la certeza de que lo vas a lograr.

Esa convicción basada en tu fortaleza va dando un equilibrio casi natural en tus demás áreas, porque restas atención y fuerza en aquello de lo que crees careces o Te hace falta.

Ciertamente como plantea @finec en su iniciativa, sin enfocarme mucho en la razón, porque eso a veces hace a las personas testarudas y perder el sentido hacia la felicidad:

Aprendiendo a Resolver problemas

Sin duda alguna, sólo tu sabes como resolver eso que piensas se ha convertido en un problema.

• Entonces, me llevo esto a una anécdota personal en mi trabajo.

Era maestra de un 4to grado y se me ocurre decirle a mis estudiantes que tengo conocimientos en inglés. Ellos de inmediato maestra enséñenos inglés. Acto seguido hacemos el diagnóstico para el proyecto y ¿Adivinen? Todos querían saber inglés.

Esto era un verdadero desafío para mi, todo estaba en mi contra. Pero tenía el conocimiento, tengo la fortaleza, sé como hacerlo y los beneficiados iban ser muchos más para los niños.

Entonces, se generó el problema.

Entregue todo ese papeleo que hacemos los maestros a dirección del plantel, y no fue aprobado. La respuesta: Eso está fuera de contexto, Eso no es lengua materna. Sorprendida pregunté ¿Qué debemos estudiar entonces? sólo refranes y palabras coloquiales. Eso ya todos lo saben.

Me atreví a más e hice una reunión con los representantes buscando apoyo; y como era un caserío lejano en el campo, todos obedecían al señor que tenía la finca grande, y él dijo en mi reunión: Estamos en el campo, saber inglés no es importante. Enséñeles a leer, matemáticas y a hacer caso.

Los niños decepcionados. Pero yo sigo confiando que lo puedo hacer. Jamás iba a enseñar eso a escondidas. La madurez que tengo ante el momento, Confiar en mi potencial y ser creativa, es importante para poder resolver el problema.

Buscando más herramientas, encontré entre mis cosas todos mis libros de cuentos que compraba en las ferias del libro. Había un viejo libro de tío conejo y tío tigre que estaba en lenguas warao, recordé que mi hijo mayor, mientras estaba en sexto grado aprendió el himno nacional de Venezuela, en lenguas warao.

Mi libro especial que me trajo el cambio. Buscas, te enfocas y encuentras la respuesta al problema.

Al día siguiente, me fui por todo ese pueblo, preguntando a los cultores, en la orquesta infantil, a los maestros, la casa de la cultura; y nadie sabía el himno en warao. Hasta que un profesor de música me preguntó que si tenía un acto especial, y le conté lo que necesitaba.

Me contacto con un joven, que además de ser cantante era recreador. El realizó su proyecto de graduación del mismo tema que aborde en mi proyecto de aula. Nos enseño el Himno warao y nos divertimos. Además logre enseñar inglés a mis niños.

Después, fuimos invitados a todos los actos culturales del pueblo, a los actos de la zonas cercanas, y hasta fuimos a San Felipe, la capital del Estado Yaracuy a cantar el Himno Warao en representación del municipio, además de ir a decir en cada rincón otras cositas en inglés.

Más tarde nos dieron un espacio de dos horas con los niños, en la radio del pueblo, todos los viernes. Espacio radial que yo debía dirigir por andar de inventadora. Eso nos dio bastante información para crear hasta un Periódico digital estudiantil.

La invitación para asistir al programa se extendió a todos los colegios de la zona. La experiencia de la radio fue única.

Llegamos bien lejos con las ganas de resolver ese problema, de darle respuesta a esa necesidad. La maestra también canto el Himno warao con sus estudiantes en cada acto.

Si me han obligado a enseñar refranes, mitos y coplas; fracaso y lloro del estrés, o aprendo en el camino a tropiezos. Reconozco que eso no es mi fortaleza. Las vergüenzas que he pasado con eso de entender refranes son terribles.

Pienso que hay problemas que se pueden enfrentar con gallardía, hay otros que no nos pertenecen y es mejor dejárselos al tiempo. Otros tantos sólo son un espejismo, producto de nuestras costumbres y creencias.

Aprendiendo a Resolver problemas

Without a doubt, only you know how to solve what you think has become a problem.

• So, I take this to a personal anecdote in my work

I was a 4th grade teacher and it occurred to me to tell my students that I have knowledge of English. They immediately teacher teach us English. Then we make the diagnosis for the project and guess what? Everyone wanted to know English.

This was a real challenge for me, everything was against me. But I had the knowledge, I have the strength, I know how to do it and the benefits were going to be many more for the children.

Then, the problem arose.

I submitted all that paperwork that teachers do to the school administration, and it was not approved. The answer: That is out of context, That is not native language. Surprised, I asked, what should we study then? only proverbs and colloquial words. Everyone already knows that.

I dared more and held a meeting with the representatives seeking support; and since it was a distant hamlet in the countryside, everyone obeyed the man who had the large farm, and he said at my meeting: We are in the countryside, knowing English is not important. Teach them to read, math and pay attention.

The disappointed children. But I still trust that I can do it. I was never going to teach that in secret. The maturity I have at the moment, trusting my potential and being creative, is important to be able to solve the problem.

Looking for more tools, I found among my things all my story books that I bought at book fairs. There was an old book about Uncle Rabbit and Uncle Tiger that was in Warao languages. I remembered that my oldest son, while he was in sixth grade, learned the national anthem of Venezuela, in Warao languages.

Mathias found the book and its images very attractive. It's interesting because it comes in Spanish and Warao.

The next day, I went throughout that town, asking the teachers, in the children's orchestra, the teachers, the house of culture; and no one knew the anthem in Warao. Until a music teacher asked me if I had a special act, and I told him what I needed.

I contacted a young man, who in addition to being a singer was a recreator. He completed his graduation project on the same topic that I addressed in my classroom project. He taught us the Warao Anthem and we had fun. I also managed to teach English to my children.

Afterwards, we were invited to all the cultural events of the town, to the events of the nearby areas, and we even went to San Felipe, the capital of the Yaracuy State to sing the Warao Anthem on behalf of the municipality, in addition to going to say in every corner other things in English.

Everyone wanted to go to the radio show

Later they gave us a two-hour slot with the children, on the town radio, every Friday. Radio space that I had to direct because I was an inventor. That gave us enough information to even create a student digital newspaper.

We have come a long way with the desire to solve that problem, to respond to that need. The teacher also sang the Warao Anthem with her students in each act.

If they have forced me to teach proverbs, myths and couplets; I fail and cry from stress, or I learn along the way by stumbling. I recognize that that is not my strength. The embarrassment I have gone through with understanding proverbs is terrible.

I think that there are problems that can be faced with gallantry, there are others that do not belong to us and it is better to leave them to time. Many others are just a mirage, a product of our customs and beliefs.
