Greetings beautiful people of the #HolosLotus Community! Today I would like to take this opportunity to officially participate in the initiative of We came to play/That Life of Ours/Initiative №26 where our dear @charjaim invites us to write some lines about the games of our childhood and even the ones we still play as adults. Today I share with you mine.
Pexels 1Making this post made me delve into my happiest childhood memories, as well as the forgotten nooks and crannies that made my childhood quite enjoyable, and fun, and that today I miss with great nostalgia those old days where everything was simpler.
So I will start by telling you about all those games from my childhood that marked special and unforgettable moments for me. Moments that, being alone or accompanied, when I bring them to my memory again, make a smile appear on my face.

This initiative took me back to my time when I was in kindergarten, those were the first memories that came to my mind since I loved to play (most of the time alone, I was in my world) and I was always inclined to play with blocks or blocks and then with Legos in the company of my older brother.
I also played a lot with my Barbies, dolls that I inherited from my mom and that I took great care of until today to pass them on to another generation, but unfortunately until now, they are still in a basket well-sheltered with no next owner in sight to bring them back to life.
Pexels 3I remember I used to make a whole scene playing with my dolls, even though I never had a house for them, I would make their bed and kitchen myself, and I would even play in the bathroom for hours using the sink as a giant Jacuzzi.
My brother also joined my games, I remember at Christmas I got a Soda Fountain for my Barbies and I would spend hours putting everything together and playing the coolest games and my brother would come screaming EARTHQUAKE! and BANG! he would smash my playset hahaha 🤣.
Pexels 4Then I would cry and my brother would hide so he wouldn't get scolded 🤣🤣🤣🤣 moments that will never come back. Then we moved to Anaco, a small town in Anzoátegui within a housing development where there were quite a few kids our age and we went out practically every day to play.
Among the games I remember most was one called Fusilao' which consisted of drawing a picture on the floor of a sidewalk (with charcoal) in the form of a list, with our names and the number of times we were hit with the ball. The one with the most “X's” had to be shot against the wall by all the members of the game.
Pexels 5You could say that it resembles the game Dodgeball only the Venezuelan version. The game itself consisted of throwing a stone at a certain distance from the ground, the name where the stone landed had to take the ball and run out behind everyone after touching a base (in this case a light post a block away) and then hit someone with the ball by throwing it hard.
Many times the ball was dodged and you had to go in search of it to try again, if you didn't hit anyone, when you returned safely to where the square was scored, you would get an X for missing, but if you were hit with the ball, you would get the X. So on and so forth, until the square was completed.
Pexels 6I remember that the group was big, about 12 kids and it was quite enjoyable, with laughter, screams full of excitement, and healthy adrenaline. Then everyone grew up and that stage burned out. Interests changed, video games arrived and one thing led to another.
I currently consider myself a Gamer, I started playing with the first console I remember, it was an Atari, then the Nintendo, and how to forget the Nintendo 64 and then PC games like The Sims, World of Warcraft and my favorite that I currently play Star Wars: The Old Republic which fits my budget allowing me to play for free and the best thing, that my PC still supports.
Pexels 7Finally, I just want to add that as an adult (and as a child), I also love board games. Clue was my favorite, as well as Guess Who and ONE. I love puzzles and if I could they would be my Hobbies. Nowadays, from time to time, as a family, and especially when the power fails in my house and we stay for hours without electricity, we play ONE or I play alone Solitaire with real cards.
Well, this is as far as I will leave my publication. I can go on giving more details, but I will go on too long. I hope you liked what I wrote. For me, they were very special and beautiful moments that I miss very much. Now I want to extend the invitation to @ikigaidesign and @elbuhito to participate if they haven't done it yet. Saludos gente linda de la Comunidad de #HolosLotus! Hoy quiero aprovechar para participar oficialmente en la iniciativa de Vinimos a jugar/Esa Vida Nuestra/Iniciativa №26 en donde nuestra querida @charjaim nos invita a escribir algunas líneas sobre los juegos de nuestra infancia e incluso los que aún practicamos siendo adultos. Hoy les comparto los míos.
Pexels 1Realizar este post me hizo profundizar en mis recuerdos más felices de mi infancia, así como también en los recovecos olvidados que hicieron de mi niñez bastante amena, divertida y que hoy por hoy añoro con mucha nostalgia aquellos viejos tiempos donde todo era más sencillo.
Así que empezaré contando de todos aquellos juegos de mi infancia que me marcaron momentos especiales e inolvidables. Momentos que, estando sola o acompañada, al traerlos a mi memoria nuevamente, hacen que se esboce en mi rostro una sonrisa.

Esta iniciativa me remontó a mi época de cuando estuve en el Kínder, fueron los primeros recuerdos que me vinieron a la cabeza, ya que desde muy niña me encantaba jugar (la mayoría de las veces sola, yo en mi mundo) y me inclinaba siempre por jugar con los bloques o tacos y ya luego con los Legos en compañía de mi hermano mayor.
También jugué mucho con mis Barbies, muñecas que heredé de mi mamá y que cuidé mucho hasta el sol de hoy con el fin de pasarlas a otra generación, pero lamentablemente hasta ahora, siguen en una cesta bien resguardadas sin un próximo dueño a la vista que les vuelva a dar vida.
Pexels 3Recuerdo que me armaba toda una escena jugando con mis muñecas, aunque nunca tuve una casa para ellas, yo misma le armaba su cama y cocina, incluso jugaba en el baño por horas usando el lavamanos como un Jacuzzi gigante.
Mi hermano también se unía a mis juegos, recuerdo que en navidad me regalaron una Fuente de Soda para mis Barbies y yo pasaba horas armando todo y jugando de lo más chévere y venía mi hermano gritando ¡TERREMOTO! y ¡Zas! me destrozaba mi set de juego jajaja 🤣
Pexels 4Luego yo lloraba y mi hermano se escondía para que no lo regañaran 🤣🤣🤣 momentos que ya no volverán. Luego nos mudamos a Anaco, un pueblito de Anzoátegui dentro de una urbanización donde había bastantes niños de nuestra edad y pues salíamos prácticamente todos los días a jugar.
Entre los juegos que más recuerdo estaba uno llamado Fusilao' que consistía en plasmar un cuadro en el piso de una acera (con carbón) en forma de lista, con nuestros nombres y las veces que nos daban con la pelota. El que tuviera más "X" debía ser Fusilado contra la pared por todos los integrantes del juego.
Pexels 5Se podría decir que se parece al juego Quemados sólo que la versión venezolana. El juego en sí consistía en lanzar una piedra al cuadro del piso a cierta distancia, el nombre donde callera la piedra tenía que tomar la pelota y salir corriendo atrás de todos luego de tocar una base (en este caso un poste alejado a otra cuadra) y luego darle a alguien con la pelota lanzándola con fuerza.
Muchas veces la pelota era esquivada y se tenía que ir en su búsqueda para volver a intentarlo, de no pegarle a nadie, al regresar de manera segura a donde estaba anotado el cuadro, se te ponía una X por fallar, pero si te daban con la pelota, quien obtenía la X eras tu. Así hasta que se completara el cuadro.
Pexels 6Recuerdo que el grupo era grande, como de 12 niños y se disfrutaba bastante, risas, gritos cargados de emoción y adrenalina sana. Luego cada uno fue creciendo y esa etapa se fue quemando. Los intereses cambiaron, llegaron los juegos de video y una cosa llevó a la otra.
Actualmente me considero Gamer, empecé jugando con la primera consola que recuerdo, era un Atari, luego el Nintendo, y cómo olvidar el Nintendo 64 y luego los juegos de PC como The Sims, World of Warcraft y mi favorito que juego actualmente Star Wars: The Old Republic que se adapta a mi presupuesto permitiéndome jugar de manera gratuita y lo mejor, que mi PC aún soporta.
Pexels 7Ya para terminar sólo quiero agregar que ya de adulta (y de niña), también me gustan mucho los juegos de mesa. Clue era mi favorito, también Adivina Quien y UNO. Los rompecabezas me encantan y si pudiera serían mis Hobbies. Hoy en día, de vez en cuando, en familia y sobre todo cuando la luz falla en mi casa y nos quedamos por horas sin energía eléctrica, jugamos UNO o yo juego sola Solitario con cartas reales.
Bueno, hasta aquí dejaré mi publicación. Puedo continuar dando más detalles, pero me extenderé demasiado. Espero que les haya gustado lo que escribí. Para mí fueron momentos muy especiales y lindos que extraño mucho. Ahora quiero extender la invitación a @ikigaidesign y @elbuhito a que se animen a participar si aún no lo han hecho. Queda tiempo.
