La amiga @mllg, en su columna "Desde mi mapa" escribió una hermosa reflexión titulada "Aunque en Invierno, de cara al sol". Disfruté mucho la lectura de su post y deseo compartir con ustedes algunas impresiones relacionadas con su reflexión.
Cuando era pequeña me gustaba tanto el sol que muchas veces intentaba verlo a ojo desnudo, es decir, directamente. En una oportunidad recuerdo que empuñando mi mano y dejando solo un espacio entre mis dedos logré verlo tan bien que el circulo parecía azul. No le dije nada a mamá para que no me llamara la atención, pero durante un rato me parecia ver el círculo del sol hacia cualquier dirección que mirara. La fuerza del sol es inmensa, gracias a Dios no le pasó nada malo a mi visión. Aunque segui amando al sol posteriormente entendí que debo tener cuidado con los rayos solares en las horas de más fuerte esplendor y por supuesto no mirarlo directamente. "De cara al Sol" qué significa? Qué podemos aprender de esta declaración?.
El sol es fuente de energía, nada en el planeta existiría sin su presencia, todo ser vivo necesita de su fuerza, animales, plantas y seres humanos. El sol transmite calor, vitalidad, fuerza a nuestros cuerpos y es necesario para el nacimiento y crecimiento de la planta que nos brinda el alimento diario.
Acá en Venezuela no vemos las 4 estaciones como en otros países, sin embargo hemos notado que en algunos lugares el frio este año ha sido más fuerte que en tiempos atrás. En mi caso soy poco tolerante al frio, no me imagino como me pondría viviendo en lugares en donde se dé la estación de invierno. Cuando siento mucho frío solo deseo beber algo caliente y arroparme para sentir calor. Metafóricamente hablando,¿hay inviernos en nuestras vidas?
"Aunque en Invierno, de cara al sol". A veces en nuestra vida pueden presentarse momentos que parecen ser tan frios como el invierno. Pueden ser dificultades, problemas, ausencias, que te hacen sentir "frio", te falta energía, vitalidad, calor, fuerza. Es allí cuando nos levantamos y caminamos de cara al sol, de frente a la luz, seguimos adelante en claridad procurando con nuestras palabras y hechos reflejar la luz que hay en nuestro corazón y que descongela todo aquel frío de duda que pueda interponerse a nuestros ideales de vida y nuestros sueños.
No podemos dejarnos vencer por el frio de la vida, la indiferencia, el temor, la duda, la falta de voluntad, la indecisión y todo aquello que nos limite para crecer y seguir adelante. Hay que seguir de cara al sol, con valentia, fe y esperanza en función de lo queremos.
Caminar de cara al Sol nos lleva a ser valientes, dinámicos, proactivos. Nuestros senderos son guiados por el Sol de Justicia, Dios, sus rayos nos iluminan, nos proporciona vitalidad, vida, energía y con fe en El mantenemos viva la esperanza que descongela la duda, disipa el temor y nos da la fuerza y voluntad para seguir adelante.
En mi vida he tenido momentos frios, en esos momentos me dejo abrazar por la luz del Sol de justicia y con sus rayos vuelve a mi la vitalidad de un nuevo comienzo o la fuerza para seguir adelante confiando en su sabia providencia, entendiendo que hay un propósito. Esa luz que emana de El se incrusta en nuestro corazón y podemos entonces ser luz para otros. Es maravilloso saber que "Aunque en Invierno, de cara al sol" puedo caminar con seguridad.
"Levántate, resplandece; porque ha venido tu luz, y la gloria de Jehová ha nacido sobre ti."( Isaias 60:1)

Friend @mllg, in her column "From my map" wrote a beautiful reflection entitled "Although in Winter, facing the sun". I really enjoyed reading her post and wish to share with you some impressions related to her reflection.
When I was a little girl I liked the sun so much that I often tried to see it with the naked eye, that is, directly. On one occasion I remember that by holding my hand and leaving only a space between my fingers I managed to see it so well that the circle looked blue. I didn't say anything to my mother so that she wouldn't call my attention to it, but for a while I seemed to see the circle of the sun in any direction I looked. The power of the sun is immense, thank God nothing bad happened to my vision. Although I continued to love the sun, I understood later that I must be careful with the sun's rays in the hours of strongest splendor and of course not to look directly at it. "Facing the sun" what does it mean? What can we learn from this statement?
The sun is a source of energy, nothing on the planet would exist without its presence, every living being needs its strength, animals, plants and human beings. The sun transmits warmth, vitality, strength to our bodies and is necessary for the birth and growth of the plant that gives us daily food.
Here in Venezuela we do not see the 4 seasons as in other countries, however we have noticed that in some places the cold this year has been stronger than in the past. In my case I am not very tolerant to cold, I can't imagine how I would feel living in places where the winter season occurs. When I feel very cold I just want to drink something warm and tuck myself in to feel warm. Metaphorically speaking, are there winters in our lives?
"Though in Winter, facing the sun". Sometimes in our lives there can be times that seem to be as cold as winter. They can be difficulties, problems, absences, that make you feel "cold", you lack energy, vitality, warmth, strength. It is there when we get up and walk facing the sun, facing the light, we move forward in clarity, trying with our words and deeds to reflect the light that is in our heart and that thaws all that cold of doubt that may stand in the way of our ideals of life and our dreams.
We cannot let ourselves be defeated by the coldness of life, indifference, fear, doubt, lack of will, indecision and everything that limits us to grow and move forward. We must continue facing the sun, with courage, faith and hope for what we want.
Walking facing the sun leads us to be courageous, dynamic, proactive. Our paths are guided by the Sun of Justice, God, His rays illuminate us, give us vitality, life, energy and with faith in Him we keep alive the hope that thaws doubt, dispels fear and gives us the strength and will to move forward.
In my life I have had cold moments, in those moments I let myself be embraced by the light of the Sun of Righteousness and with its rays the vitality of a new beginning or the strength to move forward trusting in His wise providence, understanding that there is a purpose. That light emanating from Him becomes embedded in our hearts and we can then be light for others. It is wonderful to know that "Though in Winter, facing the sun" I can walk in safety.
Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. "( Isaiah 60:1)
