Hello to everyone in the Visual Shots community! Today I'm joining today to share with you a new photo shoot. In this case, I served as the model for these portraits that I wanted to do with @wilfredocav, with whom I have teamed up on previous occasions to deal with some concepts that we both like. This time the theme was a bit about fantasy, medieval times, romanticism and fairy tales. Hence the use of costumes, props and make-up. It's not too extravagant/ostentatious as the main idea was to keep a bit of simplicity, sobriety and sweetness that I could give to the photography. I think that modelling is not very easy, because let's say it has its science, but as always everything is done with a lot of care and affection.
¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de Visual Shots! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes una nueva sesión de fotografías. En este caso, he servido cómo la modelo para estos retratos que quise hacer junto a @wilfredocav, con quién he hecho equipo en anteriores ocasiones para tratar algunos conceptos que nos agradan a ambos. Para esta oportunidad el tema iba un poco sobre fantasía, época medieval, romanticismo y fábulas de cuentos. De allí el uso de la vestimenta, los accesorios y el maquillaje. No es demasiado extravagante/ostentoso pues la idea principal era mantener un poco la sencillez, sobriedad y dulzura que podía otorgar mi persona a la fotografía. Creo que servir cómo modelo no es muy sencillo, pues digamos que tiene su ciencia, pero cómo siempre se hace todo con mucho esmero y cariño.
Some time ago I had acquired a beautiful dress (the one you see in the pictures) which I wanted to wear at an opportune moment. As life would have it, that moment never came, so I decided that until it did, I was going to wear it, at least for myself. With that came the idea of doing a photo shoot where that dress would serve as a source of inspiration for us: a girl from fairy tales. That's how I searched among the accessories I had, also the make-up that suited me best and finally to be able to unite everything in a single vision. I admit that I was partly unsure how it would all turn out, so I was a bit anxious/excited to get started with it all. Although I have to say that despite the nerves, I felt really good about what we had because I knew we would get something good out of it.
Hace algún tiempo que había adquirido un precioso vestido (el que ven en las imágenes) y el cual quería lucir en un momento oportuno. Por cosas de la vida, no llegó ese momento, así que decidí que mientras eso no se daba yo iba a lucirlo al menos para mí. Con ello llegó la idea de hacer una sesión de fotografías dónde ese vestido sirviera cómo motivo de inspiración para nosotros: una chica de cuentos de hadas. Así es cómo busque entre los accesorios que tenía, también el maquillaje que más convenía y finalmente poder unir todo en una sola visión. Reconozco que en parte no sabía cómo resultaría todo, por lo que estaba un poco ansiosa/emocionada por empezar con todo ello. Aunque debo decir que a pesar de los nervios, me sentía muy bien con lo que teníamos pues sabía que sacaríamos algo bueno.
The photographs were taken in the surroundings of the residence where I live, at about 4:00 in the afternoon. In order to make the most of the sunlight of the day, we also looked for the most suitable places. I like to take pictures where nature accompanies me and decorates the background. To be honest I felt like a little Snow White or Belle, although that was not really the intention. It happened spontaneously. I was a bit embarrassed because there were some neighbours passing by and they probably thought I was at a wedding shoot (haha). I think the dress looked like that too. But all good things are short, so soon the sun went down and we couldn't continue. So we were a bit disappointed, as we would have liked to exploit this a bit more. Finally my friends, thank you very much for stopping by. This work has been done with a lot of love and effort.
Las fotografías fueron tomadas en los alrededores de la residencia dónde vivo, a eso de las 4:00 de la tarde. Para aprovechar todo lo que se podía la luz del sol del día y también buscamos los sitios más indicados. Me gusta tomarme fotografías dónde la naturaleza me acompaña y adorna el fondo. Si soy sincera me sentía cómo una pequeña Blanca Nieves o Bella, aunque esa no había sido realmente la intención. Se dió de forma espontánea. Me daba un poco de pena porque habían algunos vecinos que pasaban cerca de allí y seguramente pensaron que yo estaba en una sesión de fotografías de boda (jajaja). Creo que el vestido también daba ese aspecto. Pero todo lo bueno es breve, así que pronto se oculto el sol y no pudimos continuar. Por lo que quedamos un poco decepcionados, ya que nos habita gustado explotar un poquito más esto. Finalmente amigos míos, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí. Este trabajo ha sido hecho con mucho amor y esfuerzo.
