Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's challenge. This is going to be my fourth participation in the weekly challenge and I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "What doesn't kill you" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.
Per the Ruleset of the game, Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities. Use a summoner with no abilities to preserve mana. I used my personal account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Bronze stage. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly look into the Ruleset of the game.
What doesn't kill you

Summoner:
I chose the SCARRED LLMAGE summoner. It was a 21-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the Scarred Llama Mage summoner so that my monsters would have an increase in health by two and also affect my monsters with the last stand ability. It also cleanses any negative effects inflicted on my monsters. I kept Kron the Undying at the last position so that it would take care of the last-stand effect and increase in stats to help me win the battle. Also, I added Venari Marksrat to effect Kron with the Matyr ability after it has been eliminated.
1st Position:
Mycelic Morphoid, this card has the thorns ability so any monster that attacks it by a melee will also be inflicted with a dmage. It is a 1-mana monster with a speed of 1, 1 melee damage attack, and 2 health with 0 armor protection.
Round 1:
First of all, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra magic attack ability. My lineup was made up of three monsters including; Mycelic Morphoid, Venari Marksrat, and Kron the Undying. His lineup was made up of three monsters as well including Venari Marksrat in the first position. When I saw that he has Quora in his lineup, I lost hope in winning this battle.
In the first round, the Quora monster in my opponent's lineup attacked me first with its magic attack ability after which Mycelic Morphoid attacked and damaged his first monster. Kron the Undying then attacked and eliminated the Venari Marksrat monster in his lineup. The martyr effect then increased all stats of the Quora monster. After the end of the first round, I eliminated one of his monster.
Round 2:
In this round, similarly, the Quora monster in my opponent's lineup attacked and eliminated my first monster after which it increased in all stats again. It then second attacked my Venari Marksrat monster and eliminated that too gaining another increase in stats.
After my Vernari monster was eliminated, Kron the Undying gained an increase in all stats and also, it being the last monster, the last stand effect took place after which it then attacked with 6 magic damage. At the end of this round, I was left with only Kron while my opponent had two monsters left.
Round 3:
In this round, as usual, Quora double-attacked me and also healed itself before applying the damage. It had 8 melee damage and 5 magic attack damages which I realized I couldn't survive that.
At the end of this round, I could only do some damage to Quora but unfortunately, it also has a healing ability too. No monster was eliminated in this round, but then I lost hope of winning the battle.
Round 4:
In this round, it was a cool win for my opponent. His Quora monster attacked me with both the melee and magic damage and eliminated my last monster which made him victorious.
That was a close battle but then his lineup was really good enough to battle me down.
This was how my battle went and I lost it. I think using melee attacks are indeed the best for enraging ability monsters. I will try to better my strategy next time.
