I've been renting out my Splinterlands cards for many seasons and I've always felt a bit frustrated by the time it took me to manage these rentals. A couple of days ago, I found a way to manage my rentals with very few clicks thanks to peakmonsters. Probably most players manage their rentals like that already but for me it's such a time saver that I wanted to share it with you...

Oh I couldn't do without peakmonsters anymore lol. Managing rentals on several accounts is a piece of cake with it :-)

I really like using PeakMonsters! There is always enhancements every now and then to make the user experience better!

Some weeks ago when you wanted to update the prices of cards, you had to autorise every card separately with keychain. Now it's possible to do everything in one go. Peakmonsters is really doing a lot of work to improve the user experience.

Peakmonsters is really an amazing time saver when it comes to managing the rentals. I appreciate that it's now possible to change several contracts without having to confirm each one separately!

I was actually unaware of this feature! So even though I only have about 20 cards I'm renting out this will be a big time saver. Thanks for making this video!
One question though: how much resource credit does it drain when you do the reset of the un-delegated cards? Like 1-3% per card?

I honestly can't tell you how much RC it request. I don't believe it's that much. The best is to try with one card and see the effect it has.

Peakmonsters is really great, as well as your clip on it! They make the renting process really easy, it's quite hard for me to understand the setup but once you do it, you can forget about it.

There are so many options available that you need some time to get familiar with the platform. Once you get where things are, it's an amazing platform to manage your account.

Peakmonster is so useful, I can't imagine my splinterlands journey without it now 😄
The only little problem is that there are so many features, it's becoming hard to stay updated with all of them lol.

Oh man, you were doing a titanic work doing them one by one.

I do the same as you discovered. Although unfortunately most probably do the same and that pushes the price down, because Load doesn't just add the lowest price, but actually puts that price MINUS a small amount, to put the card on top of the rental offers (for that card, at that level). The more often that happens (and by many people), the quicker the price drops.

That is actually the only negative point about all this tool. If everything is doing that, prices are simply coming down automatically and they stay there if we don't cancell our contracts from time to time to restart things.

I think that might help if I had a deck only for renting out. Currently I only have 1 account and this means that my cards for battle are also mixed together.

We're currently working on a Collection SETS feature. This basically allows you to select and group cards from your collection, then use that group to filter in the My Cards tab.

This will for sure help you in making a deck only for renting out, without the need of creating another Splinterlands account 😉

I'm also doing all from the same deck. Thanks to peakmonsters I can put the cards I want into the renting contracts and after that I won't see them in the game. I can then select only these cards in peakmonsters to manage rentals.

Oh dang, that's actully so nice! Trying to figure out prices and all of that takes forever for renting which is one of the drawbacks. Huge possibilities though in terms of passive income. Wonder if renting will drasticly ramp up with the introduction of land or if land can be rented out.

I totally agree. Renting out cards can be a nice income source but it can be a big drain of time. This way of doing really is efficient and allows to keep a nice time/reward balance. If I remember well, it will also be able to rent out land.

Great info just what I needed, I was in the same boat not knowing how to do rentals efficiently and have been losing a lot during the season just because prices have dropped so much because of it.
