TACTICAL SUMMONERS

Having dived into Dual-Element Summoners in the previous week's post, let's now plunge into the domain of Tactical Summoners! Currently, there are 5 Rare Rarity and 1 Legendary Rarity Tactical Summoners, each demanding 5 Mana for deployment. Departing from the conventional Summoners, these entities introduce a unique twist by offering a choice between two abilities or stat adjustments after the match commences. It's crucial to note that these selections won't apply to the entire lineup; only one or two selected cards will enjoy the bestowed benefits! 🤗

Fire Summoner, Nomos

Nomos presents a versatile choice between dealing -2 Magic damage to two designated enemy cards or bestowing the Dispel ability upon two allied Monsters. This Summoner proves particularly useful in tactical scenarios, serving as a valuable counter against teams heavily reliant on Magic or as a strategic asset in Brawl battles where the Dispel ability can effectively neutralize Gladiators with their Bloodlust ability! 👏

Water Summoner, Prophet Rosa

Prophet Rosa provides the option to enhance the offensive capabilities of two allied Monsters by granting them +2 Ranged damage or to bolster the defensive strength of a chosen Monster by bestowing the Shield ability. This Summoner offers the flexibility to adjust our lineup, either favoring a more offensive or defensive strategy based on the specific demands of the battle. Envisioning the +2 Ranged damage as a potent boost, especially for Monsters like the Drybone Raider with its Double Strike ability! 😏

Earth Summoner, Underboss Fabino

Underboss Fabino could bestows +2 Melee damage upon two chosen allied Monsters or possesses the ability to inflict Poison on a single designated Monster. It's crucial to understand that this isn't an option to grant the unit the Poison ability; rather, it immediately imposes the Poison status on the selected unit from the outset of the battle. This introduces an intriguing strategy where you can swiftly neutralize pesky enemy units, like Doctor Blight, before they accumulate an excessive amount of Health through the Scavenger ability! 😅

Life Summoner, Avina Of The Wolf

Avina Of The Wolf offers the choice of providing +2 Speed to two selected allied Monsters or bestowing the Heal ability upon a single unit. It's important to note that opting for the +2 Speed buff may prove disadvantageous in a battle governed by the Reverse Speed ruleset. On the other hand, the Heal ability could be particularly advantageous, especially when bestowed upon the Pelacor Conjurer in a low mana battle! 😁

Death Summoner, Reklah

Reklah provides the option of either reducing the Health stat by -2 or endowing the Reflection Shield ability to two Monsters in play. In battles governed by the Explosive Weaponry ruleset, strategically placing the Reflection Shield ability in your lineup could prove immensely advantageous. Else, the -2 Health stat might be useful in diminishing the Health of specific Monsters in your own lineup, such as the Venari Marksrat, facilitating the earlier activation of the Martyr ability during the battle! 🤣

Dragon Summoner, Akane

Undoubtedly, Akane stands as one of the most formidable Summoners in this collection, boasting the added distinction of being a Dragon Summoner, and thus, a Dual-Element Summoner as well with the ability to pair with any of the other five Splinters. This Summoner has the capacity to bestow the Lookout ability upon one Monster or grant the Ambush ability to two Monsters. In-depth reviews of these abilities, have already been covered extensively in my earlier posts, so be sure to explore them for more detailed insights! 😤

These summoners really turn the game. I like them

Yeah especially Akane, so scary with the Ambush! 😁

Come to think of it, Nomos can me really good with that dispel buff on two friendly units especially when used against annoying bloodlust units like Quora. I didn't actually think about that earlier.

My favorite is still Avina for now. She just pairs well with the life units.

Yeah Bloodlust can really be so irritating!

Quora have just been too overpowered since Day 1 😅
