Challenge Rules
AIMLESS
All monsters have the Scattershot ability.
The Scattershot means that all the ranged and magic attack monsters on the battlefield will choose their target randomly. They can attack any monster from the opposite team, which makes it very difficult to predict the outcome of any battle.
I do not really like this ruleset, because I do not like randomness in video games especially the ones with real money involved.
The Battle Ruleset
Aimless: All Monsters have the Scattershot ability.
Broken Arrows: Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.
This is a nice amount of mana cap for the battle and four color are available to play. The Scattershot will affect all of the magic attack monsters on the battlefield, because the ranged monsters are completely banned from this game.
My Team Composition
Possibilus the Wise is an airdrop legendary summoner, so he has three ability to buff his monsters. The first is that he is giving +2 health to all of his friendly monsters and than he will provide Trample and Reach to all of the melee attack creatures.
The Chain Golem is my number one tank, because he has the protection against all the attack types in the game thanks to his Shield and Void ability. He has decent health especially with the help of his Summoner.
The Coastal Sentry is one of the new soulbound reward card and she is pretty amazing. She has the Double Strike ability and she will capitalise the Reach from his Summoner allowing her to attack from the second position.
Nerissa Tridawn is a magic attack monster and such she is affected by the Scattershot ability, so she will attack randomly. She has good portion of health and high magic attack.
The Deeplurker has the Opportunity, so he will target the lowest health enemy monster and if he is lucky he will trigger his Poison on them.
The Runemancer Kye is a very popular choice in my teams, because she has the Life Leech ability, which means that she will increase her own health with every attack. The only problem with her is her mana cost, which is quite high.
The Djinn Oshannus is my persoanl favorite from the time I have started to play this game. I remember when his cost was over 50 USD per BCX and I was dreaming to get one. These days he is more affordable with his 2-3 USD cost and he is still quite strong. |
The Battle

My opponent picked Bortus the Water Splinter to remove the magic attack of my monsters by one. The battle started quite bad, because my opponent almost managed to kill my tank. Luckily he stayed alive with four health and my Coastal Sentry has 4 melee attack only, so when she attacked his Djinn Oshannus who has the Forcefield ability she managed to deal all of her four damage twice on him. (If it would be 5 or more damage the Djinn Oshannus would take only 1 damage)
By the end of the first round my opponent lost his tank and unfortunately my Chain Golem missed his free Trample attack and died at the beginning of the second round.
My Deeplurker and Sentry took advantage of the Trample ability from my Summoner and attacked one extra attack each removing 3 of the enemy monsters.
He had only two monster left on his side of the battlefield and even though I lost my Sentry I had much more total health than him, so I could win this battle easily and acquire a lot of RP's along the way. 😉
Do you like the Aimless Ruleset? Why or why not?
I do not really like this ruleset like I said in the beginning, but if you know how to prepare yourself against it than you might have a chance to win. Big Health monsters, Triage, Blast and Protect abilities are very good in this ruleset. 👍
