Challenge Rules
Armored Up
All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.
Instruction:
THe use of magic attacks are advised in the Armored Up ruleset, but the opponent might do the same, so focusing on HP is a key priority here. This ruleset is easily countered by Rust or Wizard of Eastwood's summoner ability. I do like this ruleset, because it is possible to use some monsters without proper defense to gain advantage over my opponent.
The Battle Ruleset
This is a low mana battle and four color is available to play. It was only one ruleset, so it was very important to bring a solid team against my opponent.
My Team Composition
Possibilus the Wise is an airdrop legendary summoner, so he has three ability to buff his monsters costing only 6 mana. He is giving +2 health to all of his friendly monsters and than he will provide Trample and Reach to all of his melee attack creatures. His opponent was Kelya who give +1 armor and speed to all of his monsters, but luckily the Armored Up ruleset also provided some armor to our monsters as well.
Baakjira is a solid tank even though he doesn't have any attack. He has huge health* and the Heal ability, which is an excellent pair as a tank to sustain as much damage as possible from any kind of attack type.
The Deeplurker has the Opportunity ability, which means that he will target the lowest health enemy monster and if he is lucky enough he will trigger his Poison on them dealing 2 damage in every end of the round.
The Merdaali Guardian is the perfect support in this fight, because she has the Tank Heal and Repair ability as well.
The Pelacor Bandit is a sneak monster, so he will attack the last monster fro mthe enemy team and his high speed will ensure that he will attack first and dodge the enemy attacks.
The Uraeus is a bit slower than the Bandit, but he is more deadlier thanks to his Poison ability. If he triggers his Poison on his target they will take 2 damage in every end of the round.
The Angelic Mandarin is a half damage dealer and half support healer. He has the Triage ability, which is good to heal the most damaged monster in his backline. |

My strategy worked as I wanted to, because these days Kelya is a pretty popular summoner, so it is much easier for me to counter him with my summoenr and team. I took advantage of the Armored Up ruleset and my team also had a lot of armor with the extra abilities from Possibilus.
In the first two round there was a lot of attacks, but both parties were so stacked up with armor that not much happened. In the third round I lost my Angelic Mandarin, because of their combined sneak attacks.
Luckily my Deeplurker and Bandit poisoned two of their monsters and they died in the same round. Unfortunately Adelade brought their Uraeus back to life, so I had to kill him again.
In the fifth round I killed his Bandit, so my opponent only had one magic attack monster who couldn't scratch the armor of my Baakjira.
With the Armored Up ruleset Possibilus is much stronger than Kelya at least in my case it was. 😆
Do you like the Armored Up? Why or why not?
Yes, this is a very good ruleset, when I have plus armor for my creatures. I recommend to use monsters with the Rust ability, if you want to counter this ruleset entirely. 👍
