The Spirit Hoarder belongs to the Neutral cards and that means that any other Splinter are able to use them in their battles without restrictions. There is only one ruleset where they are not usable, because it bans the use of any Neutral monsters.
The Stats of the Spirit Hoarder
Triage - from level 1: Heals the friendly back-line Monster that has taken the most damage.
Heal is max health divided by 3, rounded down. Minimum is 2.
Dispel - from level 2 : When this monster hit an enemy, it clears all positive status effects on that enemy.
Blind - from level 3 : All enemy Melee & Ranged attacks have an increased chance of missing their target. +15% chance of evading.
The Spirit Hoarder is a cheap Legendary monster costin only 3 mana, which makes him an easy fit into any kind of setup. The most important usecase of his is that he is able to heal his backline giving them a lot of sustain against any incoming damages.
The Blind is giving another form of protection to his team, because it makes the enemy monsters to miss their targets by 15% chance.
Currently he cost over 6 USD to buy a copy, becuse he is a legendary creature and he is a very good one, which justifies his cost.
Battle Ruleset
Broken Arrows: Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.
This is a high mana ruleset and two color plus the Dragons are available to play.
My Lineup
Grandmaster Rathe is one of my favorite summoner, because he has three amazing abilities. He is kinda counter against any magic attack team, because he gives Void Armor to all of his friendly creatures, which makes them use their own Armor against the magic attacks.
He also gives +1 Armor to all of his creatures and Amplify, which will increase any refelcted damage by one.
Uriel is a must have tank if you want to play with the Life Splinter, because it is very difficult to kill him thanks to his Heal ability. His damage is huge thanks to his Recharge, but he is attacking only every second round.
Adelade Brightwing is an excellent support creature with some magic damage. She is able to repair the lost armor on one of his fellow monsters in every round and she will bring back the first killed friendly monster to life.
The Spirit Hoarder and his abilities are excellent as a support, because for only 3 mana you are going to get a healer and blinder creature who is able to dispel any positive status effect from his target.
This battle was a huge brawl battle for me, so I was able to use Captain Kate who is a magic attack damage dealer. Her most important ability is Bloodlust, which will make her increase her own stats with every kill she makes.
The Djinn Renova has a similar role like the Spirit Hoarder, but the biggest difference is that she cost 7 mana, but she will get 2 more magic damage than the Hoarder. The Triage ability means a lot especially if you can use it with a nice tactic.
I have used the Shieldbearer to direct my opponent creatures damage into him using his Taunt ability. This worked perfectly because he received two heal in every round, so my opponent had a very hard time removing it from the battle.
The Battle

My strategy worked as I wanted to be, because my Shieldbearer soaked a lot of damage in this fight.
My opponent managed to kill it, but my Adelade brought back to life. By the time my opponent killed it permanently the battle was already over, because he lost his tank and his soft backline creatures started to fall into the first position, where my Uriel finished them off with the help of his team. 😁
Do you like Spirit Hoarder? Why or why not?
Yes I like it, because the 3 mana cost makes him to use in almost any battle and gives a huge advantage to have him on my side thanks to his abilities.
