We have got a new set of reward cards in the game from this season onwards and the last one has been discontinued with its printing. Although we still have the option to buy from the open market but now those old cars cannot be purchased from the game website as these are replaced by a new set of cards and these are from the Rebellion edition. Rebellion is one of the editions in the game as of now that is purely for gaming as these assets cannot be used for any other purpose including the land or something else and these cards are also soul-bound. Soulbound is a restriction in terms of trading or rental but as far as gameplay is concerned it can be used for any type of battle in the game.
When the change was announced a couple of weeks back then I used a bunch of Glint tokens to buy reward cards from the previous editions before the supply went out of stock on the website and I also tried to grab a lot of legendary cards. I think it was a good decision to buy at the right time before supply ends and now the change is implemented in the game so that option is not available anymore and this is why now I am focusing more on the new reward cards. Below are the cards I have acquired till now and its been less than a week since the release of new reward cards in the game.
I hope that you would have noticed the price increase in the shop for these new cards. The earlier price for one legendary draw was 25,000 glint but now it is increased to 35,000 and probably this is done to restrict the purchase. I meant to say people would be able to have fewer cards as the price is high and its fine for me.
This season is ongoing and will be ending almost 10 days from now and I also hold a very limited amount of glint tokens. Now I will try to accommodate more tokens so that I can buy more cards from the reward shop and this is how I am planning to grow my new card collection and will be upgrading the card as well once I have enough quantity available. It's obvious that the gameplay is not fun with the basic cards and this is why upgrade is a necessity that I will be starting once I can get a good number of cards. At this point, it will take a couple of weeks for me to have a bunch of cards with me. I don't know how these cards are working in the battleground as of now because most of these cards are at a basic level and I need some time to accumulate more and level up to experience the real fun.
In the current season currently, I am in the Diamond League but I am hoping that I will be able to unlock the next league which is going to be champion in next few days. There are more than 10 days left for the current season which I think is a good amount of time for me to level up my league and I am on it to make it happen. There is competition in the game which is part of the game also but it's fine since I am on it and I'm sure that I'll be able to unlock the Champion League in the next couple of days. I would also be trying to make it Champion 2 if possible.
