The powerful melee trio of Diemonshark, Flying Squid and Deeplurker

There are three monsters that when used combined can be very powerful and lethal. Interestingly, they are all melee attack monsters of the water element. These monsters are Diemonshark, Flying squid and Deeplurker.

The beautiful thing about this trio is that they can all perform effectively on the same team despite the fact that they are all melee attack monsters. When I put them on my line up, I usually put Diemonshark in first position. I do this because, to me, this monster seems perfect for that position. It doesn't have the ability to let it attack from any position, but it has enough armor and health. It also has the trample ability.

Flying squid can occupy and attack from any position as a melee monster thanks to its reach ability. In addition it has massive health stat. In my battle, I put it in the second position because I felt it will be most dangerous there.

Deeplurker can also attack from any position thanks to it opportunity ability. This ability makes it incredibly crucial because it attacks the weakest units in the enemy team. It's health is also impressive.

In my battle, Diemonshark, Flying squid and Deeplurker occupied the first three positions. It's not everytime one can effectively pull off a front three of melee attack monsters that attack, but these three makes it possible. The other monsters in my lineup include Venari Spellsmith which is a magic monster in fourth position, Supply runner which is a ranged attack monster in fifth position and Kulu Swimhunter which is also a ranged attack monster in last position. Kelya Frendul was my summoner.

In round 1, my units had extra shield and speed due to buffs from Kelya Frendul. My units began attacking Venari Knifer. Attacks from Diemonshark, Flying Squid and Supply runner were enough to eliminate it in this round. Deeplurker as expected, attacked and eliminated Mycelic morphoid in second position in one strike as it had the lowest life.

In round 2, Diemonshark came under heavy attack from the enemy units but my units retaliated and fired back at Mycelic Infantry which now occupied the first enemy position. Again, in one strike, Deeplurker eliminated Venari Scout which was in second position.

In round 3, Diemonshark had it's health greatly depleted due to attacks from Goblin Psychic. Most of my units combined to attack and eliminate Mycelic Infantry. Diemonshark shark was finally eliminated.

In round 4, Flying squid occupied first position and was attacked by Hill Giant. However, Hill Giant also faced attacks from my units and was eliminated leaving only Goblin Psychic. One strike from Deeplurker was enough to eliminate Goblin Psychic and win me the battle.

You can see the massive effect of those front trio. Other units barely received a scratch thanks to them. Deeplurker was especially instrumental because it specifically targeted and eliminated certain weak unit while the other units attacked the tanks. The good thing about this trio is that they don't cost so much mana. In addition, they may not be as effective individually, but when used combined, they can cause the most harm and almost guarantee victory.
