Por lo general, suelo usarla en partidas con las condiciones de batalla: “Poison”, “Tis But Scratches”, “Melee Mayhem” y “Keep Your Distance” con límites de maná medio - alto. Evelyn Auvera, es un monstruo del Splinter de Vida, es del tipo épico, y pertenece a la edición Reward(Soulbound)/Chaos Legion.

Greetings community! In this week's challenge I want to tell you about a card that I have been using in my strategies with the Life Splinter. I usually use it in games with the battle conditions: "Poison", "Tis But Scratches", "Melee Mayhem" and "Keep Your Distance" with medium - high mana limits. Evelyn Auvera, is a Splinter of Life monster, is of the epic type, and belongs to the Reward(Soulbound)/Chaos Legion edition.

Evelyn Auvera es un monstruo que desde su nivel 1 a pesar de no poseer ataque cuenta con buenos atributos, y la habilidad “Immunity”, la cual es bastante útil en las condiciones adecuadas. Su coste de maná 5, la hace una carta más versátil de utilizar en contraste con monstruos como “Kralus” o “Almo Cambio”, y sus atributos la hacen una mejor opción en contraste con “Venator Kinjo”. Como juego en la liga de Plata en el formato Moderno, uso esta carta en su nivel 1, ya que aún no poseo las copias suficientes para subirla de nivel pero lo ideal sería utilizarla en su nivel 3 para aprovechar mejor su potencial. Sin embargo, su desempeño ha sido excelente. Por lo general, como les comenté anteriormente, me gusta utilizar esta carta en partidas con las condiciones de batalla: “Poison”, “Tis But Scratches”, “Melee Mayhem” y “Keep Your Distance” con límites de maná medio - alto. Por ejemplo: en partidas con la condición de batalla “Poison”, su habilidad “Immunity” es ideal, ya que no es afectada por el “Poison”, por lo que si la ubicamos en nuestra segunda línea, y utilizamos un tanque con buenas características combinado con un soporte mediante la habilidad “Cleanse”, obtendremos una gran ventaja en la batalla.

Evelyn Auvera is a monster that from its level 1, despite having no attack, has good attributes, and the ability "Immunity", which is quite useful in the right conditions. Its 5 mana cost makes it a more versatile card to use in contrast to monsters like "Kralus" or "Almo Cambio", and its attributes make it a better choice in contrast to "Venator Kinjo". As I play in the Silver league in the Modern format, I use this card in its level 1, since I still do not possess enough copies to level it up but ideally I would like to use it in its level 3 to take better advantage of its potential. However, its performance has been excellent. In general, as I mentioned before, I like to use this card in games with the battle conditions: "Poison", "Tis But Scratches", "Melee Mayhem" and "Keep Your Distance" with medium - high mana limits. For example: in games with the "Poison" battle condition, its "Immunity" ability is ideal, since it is not affected by the "Poison", so if we place it in our second line, and use a tank with good characteristics combined with a support through the "Cleanse" ability, we will get a great advantage in the battle.

As I mentioned before, I usually use this card in games with the battle conditions: "Poison", "Tis But Scratches", "Melee Mayhem" and "Keep Your Distance" with medium - high mana limits. Today I bring you a game with the battle condition "Poison", and a medium mana limit. In the following image you can see the game conditions.

Dadas las condiciones de la partida, decidí elegir al Splinter de vida, ya que cuenta con monstruos con buenas características, y habilidades muy útiles para estas condiciones como: “Immunity”, “Heal” y “Cleanse”. Lo que representa una ventaja evidente en contraste con el resto de Splinters.

Given the conditions of the game, I decided to choose the life Splinter, since it has monsters with good characteristics, and very useful abilities for these conditions such as: "Immunity", "Heal" and "Cleanse". This represents an obvious advantage in contrast to the rest of the Splinters.

Usé a Grandmaster Rathe como invocador con la finalidad de dar soporte a la composición mediante su buff de +1 punto de armadura. En la Primera posición usé a Uriel The Purifier, ya que cuenta con las características adecuadas para actuar como tanque. En la Segunda posición usé a Herbalist con la finalidad de dar soporte al tanque mediante su habilidad “Cleanse”, y tomar ventaja en la batalla. En la Tercera posición usé a Pelacor Conjurer con la finalidad de proteger al resto de la composición en caso de que los monstruos en la Primera y Segunda posición mueran. En la Cuarta posición usé a Evelyn Auvera con el propósito de protegerla del daño enemigo, y tomar ventaja en la batalla mediante su habilidad “Immunity”. En la Quinta posición usé a Venari Crystalsmith con la finalidad de dar soporte al tanque mediante su habilidad “Heal”, y contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea. Por último usé a Helmet Kharafax con el propósito de proteger al resto de la composición de posibles ataques enemigos de tipo “Sneak”. Como pudieron observar mi estrategia consiste en fortalecer al tanque eliminando los efectos del “Poison” en él mediante la habilidad “Cleanse”, y usar un monstruo con la habilidad “Immunity” en una posición adecuada de la segunda línea para dar tiempo que se debilite la composición enemiga, y tomar ventaja en la batalla.

I used Grandmaster Rathe as a summoner in order to support the composition with his +1 armor buff. In the first position I used Uriel The Purifier, since he has the right characteristics to act as a tank. In the second position I used Herbalist in order to support the tank with his "Cleanse" ability, and take advantage in the battle. In the third position I used Pelacor Conjurer in order to protect the rest of the composition in case the monsters in the first and second positions die. In the Fourth position I used Evelyn Auvera in order to protect her from enemy damage, and take advantage in the battle through her "Immunity" ability. In the fifth position I used Venari Crystalsmith in order to support the tank with her "Heal" ability, and contribute to the damage from the second line. Finally, I used Helmet Kharafax to protect the rest of the composition from possible enemy "Sneak" attacks. As you can see, my strategy consists of strengthening the tank by eliminating the effects of the "Poison" on it through the "Cleanse" skill, and using a monster with the "Immunity" skill in a suitable position in the second line to give time to weaken the enemy composition, and take advantage in the battle.

En el turno 15 de la ronda 2, Uriel The Purifier abatió a Flesh Golem. A Uriel The Purifier ya no le afectaba la condición “Poison” gracias a la habilidad “Cleanse” de Herbalist. El enemigo ya contaba con 4 monstruos, y mi composición con 5, y 2 de ellos eran inmunes a los efectos de la condición “Poison”, la estrategia estaba funcionando.

On turn 15 of round 2, Uriel The Purifier defeated Flesh Golem. Uriel The Purifier was no longer affected by the "Poison" condition thanks to Herbalist's "Cleanse" ability. The enemy already had 4 monsters, and my composition had 5, and 2 of them were immune to the effects of the "Poison" condition, the strategy was working.

En el turno 7 de la ronda 3, Herbalist y Uraeus fueron abatidos por los efectos de la condición “Poison”. En enemigo ya sólo contaba con 3 monstruos, y mi composición con 4. La estrategia seguía en pie.

On turn 7 of round 3, Herbalist and Uraeus were killed by the effects of the "Poison" condition. The enemy now had only 3 monsters, and my composition had 4.

En el turno 12 de la ronda 3, Venari Crystalsmith abatió a Sand Worm. El enemigo ya sólo contaba con 2 monstruos pero estos poseían la habilidad “Heal”, y mi composición contaba con 4 monstruos pero 2 estaban próximos a caer. En el turno 9 de la ronda 4, Uriel The Purifier abatió a Earth Elemental terminando de definir el rumbo de la batalla. Finalmente, en el turno 6 de la ronda 8, Uriel The Purifier cerró la batalla abatiendo a Hydra. Al final, la estrategia funcionó a la perfección, tanto Uriel The Purifier como Evelyn Auvera sobrevivieron sin problemas. ¿Qué hizo la diferencia entre las estrategias? Pues, el enemigo no usó monstruos con la habilidad “Immunity” ni tampoco usó un monstruo con buenos atributos en su segunda posición para el caso en que su tanque caiga. Además, su composición no contaba con escudo. En las siguientes imágenes pueden observar todo esto.

On turn 12 of round 3, Venari Crystalsmith defeated Sand Worm. The enemy had only 2 monsters but they had the ability "Heal", and my composition had 4 monsters but 2 were about to fall. On turn 9 of round 4, Uriel The Purifier defeated Earth Elemental, defining the course of the battle. Finally, on turn 6 of round 8, Uriel The Purifier closed the battle by taking down Hydra. In the end, the strategy worked perfectly, both Uriel The Purifier and Evelyn Auvera survived without problems. What made the difference between the strategies? Well, the enemy did not use monsters with the "Immunity" ability nor did they use a monster with good attributes in their second position in case their tank fell. In addition, his composition did not have a shield. In the following images you can see all this.
