Last but not least, I would like to say something about your new rewards.
You can find articles about the new cards and abilities all over peakD.
Unfortunately, I can only form my opinion based on the official post from Splinterlands.

In case anyone wants to read it again.
True to the motto: "Where one door closes, a new one opens", new cards were announced.
Basically, I would have much preferred it if the old maps had been available for a little longer, but that wasn't planned.
It's a shame for me, I think the previous maps are great. So far I've been able to level some of them up to a good level, but none of them have reached Lv Max. That's a great pity.
On the other hand, there are enough players who have earned significantly more rewards than me and have already collected everything at MAX level. Of course, Splinterlands has to offer something new for these players. They have to be kept in line.
At the same time, it is a NO-GO for me that new players have no chance of reaching these cards!
Of course you could buy them on the market and they're not completely gone, but I don't find the whole thing intoxicating.
The same goes for the fact that the cards can be "unbound".
For me, there's nothing wrong with tying cards to an account. On the other hand, it is important for the game economy that more cards are burned. That is one way, albeit a very expensive one.
Why very expensive, well quite simply, card inflation is being driven further and further.
In my opinion, fewer new cards are needed and certainly not tens of thousands of copies.
But I don't want to write myself into a rage. I'm not a fan of it, but well, something new and exciting is coming.
I'm excited to see how my journey continues, I've seen a lot of great cards in the many posts that I'm looking forward to.
And the best thing is: it's only 2 days away!
So look forward to the new era and enjoy the Splinterlands!
