Today I would like to say a few words about land in Splinterlands.
The topic of land came up at a time when there was a lot of hype surrounding all Web3 games.
Naturally, I was also caught up in the hype and tried to get a piece of the pie.
Unfortunately, that wasn't possible at release. At the time, Land was just way too expensive for me. Considering the fact that it was only planned at that point and was still 100% in its infancy, it was a bit of a risk. But well, very few people thought about that.
When the land was released, I got my piece of land after all as the price fell. For me, it was a lot of money that I paid, but I was hoping that Splinterlands had come up with a working concept behind the land.
Well, what can I say....
So far, I have been very disappointed. I see absolutely no added value in the introduction of land. Yes, you can stack cards - for what ?
To get another irrelevant token ? - For what ?
To pay more again ? - For what ?
To bind your own cards ? - for what ?
Unfortunately I don't understand...
But maybe someone here can tell me what I can't see at the moment.
