We’re happy to announce that, starting today, all ARCHMAGE users will have access to the Experimental Algorithm V2.1!
When we improve the Archmage 'hand finder' which selects what cards to play on your behalf, we release an early Beta form of the code to a limited set of users (ARCHAMGEA and/or ARCHMAGEB holders) since it costs more to run the enhanced code at scale. This limited release is to mitigate costs and reduce resources while making our project more efficient and refining the code to work optimally through growth. These costs have historically been financed through token sales or from the project’s savings.
While limited releases will likely continue for many new and enhanced features, now that our billing system is launched, we feel confident that we can safely provide an immediate change and release the current V2.1 hand finder to everyone, which will help users get more wins!
The changes to the Config UI graphics and text will be delayed a short time, but as of now, the changes are live for all holders of ARCHMAGE to have access to the new algorithm if they desire.
All you have to do is go to https://archmage.app/config and turn on the “Experimental Algorithm” (even though it says it’s for Alpha and Beta users only).
This is a great opportunity to get a feel for some of the improvements we have in development for V3 of the hand finder which is on its way!
Getting this new improvement into your hands is in our best interests as well. With our new fee system, when we help you earn more, we earn more. Expect changes like this to roll out much more quickly than we could in the past as we start to see revenue, which is a direct incentive.
As always, if you have any questions or feedback, feel free to reach out to us in Discord.
