CHALLENGE RULES
RULESET: Close Range
Description: Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.
Tip: You can use high HP or high speed Ranged monsters at position 2 (or even at position 1 if it has Heal). Choose summoners that give a bonus to Ranged attack or to speed and then choose high damage Ranged attack monsters. Beware of the possibility that your opponent might pick Lir Deepswimmer as summoner or monsters with Return Fire. High HP and Heal is the way to go in this ruleset.
Battle Rulesets:
Fire & Regret: All monsters receive the Return Fire ability at the start of the battle. Enemy monsters that attack with ranged attacks receive damage back.
Tip:
Damage returned is equal to damage of the attacker divided by 2, rounded up.
Ranged attack monsters with the Reflection Shield ability do not take damage from reflected magic attacks.
The Amplify ability increases damage.

TEAM AND STRATEGY
TEAM
Summoner:
- Kelya Frendul
Monsters:
- Baakjira
- Djinn Oshannus
- Deeplurker
- Angelic Mandarin
- Pelacor Bandit
- Dr. Blight
Strategy
I have a feeling that he will use Magic Team that is why I used Water Splinter because Baakjira and Djinn Oshannus are the best tank to counter Magic Team.
Deeplurker in case he used Melee Team.
Angelic Mandarin for Magic debuff because of its Silence ability.
Pelacor Conjurer in case he used Melee Sneak Team.
Dr. Blight for Affliction because there is a possibility that he will use monster/s with Tank Heal, Heal and/or Triage ability.
Positioning
Position 1:
Baakjira - my main tank because of its massive Health and Void armor.
Position 2:
Djinn Oshannus - as my second tank because of Void and Phase ability. Also he has Forcefield that can protect himself for massive damage (5+ damage).
Position 3:
Deeplurker - my core damager/attacker. I also put him in third position for its safety.
Position 4:
Angelic Mandarin - my support because of its Silence and Triage ability. Its really good to support my backline in case my opponent used a Melee Team.
Position 5:
Pelacor Bandit - my rear tank because of its Flying ability and insane Speed.
Position 6:
Dr. Blight - he's also one of my support. Affliction is a must because I really have a feeling that he will use a team with Heal, Tank Heal and/or Triage.
Battle
Round 1
First of all, this is my alt account (@kirzxc). My prediction was right. I really countered him by using Baakjira, Djinn Oshannus and Angelic Mandarin.
In this round, my Baakjira didn't get Affliction from his Goblin Psychic and his Mycelic Slipspawn got Poisoned and Affliction which puts me in the huge advantage in this battle.
Round 2
My Pelacor Bandit killed Mycelic Slipspawn and luckily, my Baakjira didn't get Affliction in this round. And RNG is really in my side because his Pelacor Mercenary got Poisoned and Affliction. It ended with 6v5 battle.
Round 3
His Queen Mycelia got killed by my Deeplurker and I'm really dominating my opponent. The round ended with 6v4 battle and his tank has only one (1) Health.
Round 4
This time, his Goblin Psychic and Pelacor Mercenary got killed and there is no hope for him to win because the round ended with 6v2 battle.
Final Round
Djinn Oshannus gives the final blow and the battle ended in a flawless victory.
Battle Summary
My prediction was right and I really dominated my opponent in this battle. Its really a flawless victory and you can also see my Win rate which is 100% (via Splintertools). GG!
