Hello everyone, this time I will participating in this Splinterlands Challenge, where I will be showing you an exciting battle where Venka manages to destroy all the enemy units in a single round.
First, let's talk a little bit about Venka, one of the most used cards in the modern league, especially in the diamond and champion league. Why do they choose her so much in battles? One of the reasons is due to her high attack power of 7, making her one of the strongest creatures in the game, and she has a decent speed of 5, able to attack before many units.
Also, she has the Charge ability, so she can attack in any position, just like mages do, and that's great because she has low health, no armor and no defensive abilities like shield, so you don't want her in the frontline position, or even the second, if possible behind your last position unit, to prevent sneak units from attacking her.
Venka doesn't care about the units' armor, thanks to her Piercing ability, she can attack without worrying about it. But the Forcefield ability is a problem for her, since she has more than 5 attack power, units like Arkemis the Bear and Mycelic Slipspawn that have that ability only take 1 damage from Venka.
She is a direct counter of Grimbardun Smith and any unit that doesn't have attack, as she also has the Oppress ability, allowing her to deal double damage to them, making her a nightmare for those units.
And finally, the reason why she is able to defeat two units in a single round. The trample ability makes her perform another attack when she defeats an enemy against the unit in the next position. And if the Stampede ruleset is active, the Trample ability can be triggered multiple times in a round, so she has a chance to perform an OTK (One Turn Kill).
This time, only 5 monsters are allowed on the battlefield, and the Stampede ruleset will be active, perfect for Venka. Additionally, the Enrage ruleset will allow all units to gain speed when damaged, but in addition, melee units will not only gain speed, but will also gain 50% bonus melee attack power, making it easier for Venka to destroy enemies.
Eternal Tofu as my summoner, as usual to give my units the snare and thorns ability. And this time I decided to give the Corrosive Ward and Divine shield ability to my first three units.
Of course, I protect Venka with allies who posses defense abilities like Grimbarduns, the Fighter (has Shield, takes less damage from melee attacks) and Smith (has Shield and Void, takes less damage from magic attacks, also repairs armor), so the enemies will have a hard time defeating them, before they reach Venka.
Then Stitch Leech, which can attack the last enemy unit instead of the first, ideal for finishing off possible "weak" units. And Venari Crystalsmith in the last position, who can heal my frontline units, and also to receive possible sneak attacks, that's why I put Venka behind it.
In the first round, my units damage the enemy frontline unit so Venka can destroy it next.
The second round is where the magic happens, Venka succesfully attacks Pelacor Mercenary defeating him, and because Mercenary has the Retaliate ability, which allows him a 50% chance to counterattack, it luckily activates and Venka takes damaged, so she receives the Enrage bonus, gaining +4 melee attack power.
Now, Venka with 11 melee attack power is able to destroy the next creature (Bramble Pixie) which had exactly 11 HP. After defeating the unit, she performs additional attacks thanks to the Stampede, managing to defeat all enemy units, achieving 5 kills in one round.
Fortunately, Venka was able to survive with only 1 HP, allowing her to destroy all the enemies.
This is one of my shortest battles battles so far, as it only ended in the second round. This makes me want to win in the first round, I know it will be very difficult, but surely one battle with the indicated rulesets and of course, a little bit of luck, can make it possible.
Venka if she were a cat attacking with her gun :V
