Another spotless brawl - Do I need a new challenge?

in #hive-133232 months ago

And again, I won all my battles in the Silver League Wild Tier. Now, I'm step by step upping my cards into Gold-League Territory - but only the cheap ones. It's too expensive for me to get all my favorites (Rage, Lurker, Mastermind, ...) on Gold level - or even Silver level, like my newest addition - Agor Longtail (another deal I got thanks to the posts by @splintertrends , I really recommend following them).
On the other hand, it would definitely be more of a challenge to compete in Gold League with mostly Silver-League cards, and I half of the important summoners on the right level.

By the way, we’re recruiting in our Guild due to a lot of inactivity – if you’re interested (or maybe your whole guild wants to merge?), you can write me on discord or comment. Info below.

So, here are the brawl battles - this time ranked by favorites.

Battle 1 - League of Legends

Fab 4 and 53 Mana lead to having 7 legends and 1 epic on the field - and the team with the epic won. Decisive was Rage's scattershot hitting Sevaya in the first round, taking away 3 Magic damage from the enemy. Also, I got to use Agor - did I mention that I'm very glad that I pulled the trigger on that one?

Battle 2 - Ultra-Trained Krash

Brawl 2.JPG

Krash is really becoming my favorite Gladiator. This time, I had enough mana to train him both by rage (3 magic damage) and the Ferexian Hero (3 Melee damage). He didn't really get OP up until the end due to scattershot and Equilizer, but ended up with 6 Magic and 6 Melee Damage - in a Melee Mayhem, he could be very OP like that.

Battle 3 - The invincible Chicken

Brawl 3.JPG

The combination of the Furious Chicken, Grandmaster Rathe and a repair monster is more effective than one might think. Even though it was an Earthquake rule, the chicken survived after being revived (and feeding my gladiator). I'm always surprised by how useful this little beast is.
@arc-echo had made a post about the chicken as well. It's always underestimated :-D

Battle 4 - Retaliation Mode!

Brawl 5.JPG

This one is fun because the Forgotten One Retaliates many times, but never does damage due to the Holy Protection Ruleset. Still, without it, the game could've ended differently.

Battle 5 - All in on Sneak

I'm probably going to write a particular post about this one, just because the tactic worked out nicely. The enemy didn't have the best tactic, though, so it's not that amazing.

Battle 6 and 7 weren't that spectacular.

Battle 6 - Mastermind and Isgald vs. Quora and Katrelba

Battle 7 - 2x Magic Explosion made the difference
