Crypto might still hack it

I've been enthusiastically looking at the numbers in the market. For what it's worth, I'm not expecting anything monumental but more hopeful about what could be.

There's been some upward movement in the market as a whole. It's the kind of movement that typically precedes something more widespread and I'm pleased to say that I am here for it.

Bitcoin recently started it's approach of $40k but stopped somewhere in the $36k region before settling at $34k. Right now, this current value is the new sideways.

Hive has also had an improved sideways value of around 34cents, up from 28-30 cents range that it had held for the past couple of weeks. This is yet another sign of something good on the way.

It's not everyday that a Bitcoin pump carries smaller alts like hive that live in the periphery of the crypto market. I like to think that these are the situations that tell you about what kind of pump could come in the future.

In this context, the future is an uncertain amount of time that is affected by an unknown number of variables. What we do know is that when it comes, it will come with mind blowing rewards for those that stayed the course.

One of my biggest regrets is having to liquidate all my crypto to fund this move. However, I know that I'll get it all back in the near future. I am particularly looking forward to building a new Splinterlands deck.

Liquidating my Splinterlands deck is probably the most difficult decision I've had to make during my crypto journey. Once we're out of murky waters, the plan still remains to get it all back and get back into the game, as much as I can.

Searching for hope

Genesis League Goals has been a major disappointment because I really had high hopes. The implementation of the game hasn't gone down well with a decent chunk of the community and this is reflected in the scanty marketplace.

People are simply not interested in buying cards for yet another card game that is quite frankly, not fun to play. Even moreso if you're a football fan.

I haven't been keeping up with GLG communications to know what the team are planning but I honestly think the game needs a proper overhaul. Go back to the basics and redesign it in another way.

There are many football games outside of FIFA that GLG could take a lead from to make something more fun. Off the top of my head, I can think of Efootball and Football manager as two examples to adapt.

I hope something good happens with the project and GLX token, in particular, gets a major boost. In any case, I'll unstake my tokens and keep them liquid as we get closer to the end of staking reward.
