So, I did get a battle with the Ferocity
ruleset even though I did get one a few days back but still, I was not able to win that match at that time. But this time was not even ready but all of a sudden I did realize that I did win the battle without losing any sweat. 😉 I did notice one thing if you worry too much about some particular things then it is really hard to achive that particular thing if you will go with the flow and try to take it less seriously (sometimes ), then the results are more better. The same thing did happen to me today while playing splinterlands
I am enjoying Splinterlands
a lot these days, maybe I am getting better or maybe I am taking it less seriously. Doesn't matter what the reason is I am happy that I can enjoy the game and life is a bit less stressful. It is really fun to play with the new cards sometimes that did go and sometimes that didn't go as we planned it to.

This time I did get a battle with two rule sets that are Ferocity
(All units have the Fury ability.) and Armored Up
(All units get a +2 armor buff at the beginning of the game.). Whenever I see the Armored Up
ruleset then I do try to use as many magic
monsters as I can but this time I used a few monsters with a melee
attack and I think it did a great job while choosing those cards. the magic cards worth good health is worth it in the Armored Up
ruleset.
The mana cap was 35 so it was easy to make a decent deck with that, I did try something new this time, and guess what that worked pretty well for me and of course not for the opponent. I did use my all-time best and most-used water summoner which is theAlric Stormbringer
. I do love this summoner a lot, it is good to play with magic, the magic power is great and if the ruleset is like this ten it is a boon for you. 😅
Screenshot from Splinterlands
I used my all-time favorite summoner which is Alric Stormbringer
, which I do use most of the time if I did get a chance to play with this. these days I am trying to play with other summoners too. Don't want to be stuck behind in the game now I am having fun. The fun has just begun.
So, my lineup was:
Sea Monster-:
The 1st of the line was Sea Monster
, I don't use this card that much but I think this time I was lucky to use this card. The heal
("Restores a portion of the Monster's health each round.")
ability is cool mostly all the time this does make a difference too. The level 5 card does have a 9 health
, 3 speed
, and 5 melee
attack makes this card a decent tank not all the time though but sometimes this is worth using it. If the opponent I using mostly all the melee monsters then this can be very useful against that too.
Tide Biter-:
The 2nd in my line was Tide Biter
, I am been using this card recently and this card does have decent stats it is very useful in medium and low mana battles (as per my knowledge). At level 3 this card does have two abilities those are Reach
("Melee attack Monsters with the Reachability may attack from the second position on the team") and Reflection Shield
("This Monster is immune to all indirect, or reflected damage."). The ability to attack from 2nd position even if this card is a melee attacker that did make this card a decent card to use. 4 health
, 4 speed, and
2 melle` attacking power did make this card a decent card to use in the battle. If the opponent doesn't have any shield then this cab be very useful for you, but not all the time this does happen so be carful 😇
Pelacor Bandit-:
3rd on my line was Pelacor Bandit
, this card is one of my best cards that I use very often whenever I did get a chance to play with water element cards. This card does have decent stats and with the two abilities, this card is good to play and a decent card to learn the back line. The card does have 4 health
, 4 speed
, and 2 melee
acttck at level 3 and with two abilities like Sneak
("Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.") and Flying
("Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.") This card is very useful and can miss attacks from melee and ranged monster that can be very useful in mnay battles. Sometimes one miss can change the battle totally.
Spirit Miner -:
The fourth card on my deck was Spirit Miner
, this card does have a few amazing abilities with a decent amount of health and that did make this card a decent one to use. The two abilities of the cards are Dodge
("Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks.") and Swiftness
("All friendly Monsters have increased Speed."), with these abilities, this card does have two benefits at the same time. at level 2 this card does have 6 health
, 3 speed
, and 2 magic
attacks and that is really useful against the armor monsters.
Coral Wraith-:
The card on my line was a coral wraith
, this card does have the ability that is sneak
("Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.") and it is very useful and handy to clear the back line of opponent's deck. If you do have more than one sneak ability card then some time set can be a good decision and sometimes it can be bad too. If the opponent is using some kind of healing monster at the last of the line then this card can be useless. But if the opponent is using low Mana cost cards on the back then it can be very helpful. The card does have 3 health
, 3 speed
, and 2 magic
attacks. The snake ability did make this card very useful. If you do have left for space then you can use this card. Try to keep this card in position from 3 to 5, avoid using this card in the last.
Djinn Oshannus -:
The last card on my deck was Djinn Oshannus
, usually, I used this card in the first position because of its ability to reduce magic attacks. And most of the time this card does work very well, but this time I decided to use it on the last of the line. And I think that was one of the best decisions. With a decent amount of health, speed, and attacking power this card is a tank or a beast. 11 health
, 5 Speed
, and 2 magic
attack,s and two amazing abilities like void
("Reduced damage from Magic attacks.") and phase
("Magic attacks can miss this Monster") does make this card dangerous mostly but not all the time.
as you can see I did have around 3 cards left but the opponent does have only one card left at the beginning I was afraid to see who is gonna win as the battle passed I did get c clear idea of how is gonna win the match you can watch the full video from here. Battle Link. The man of the match is Spirit Miner
, in my opinion, what do you think?
