Hello! This post is for the Community Engagement Challenge for Splinterlands. In this post, I will be talking about how to rent assets for new players, which is containing Cards and SPS. With this post, I want new players to learn about renting more easily and how to utilize them.

Card Renting - Splinterland Page

There are various ways to rent cards in Splinterlands. One way is by doing it with Splinterlands' Main page.

{15CB01F4-C520-4C6D-A658-EF7B7F6BAFEF}.png

You can click on what cards you want to rent, and select renting. You could do it on this way, but it is not efficient if you are trying to rent many cards at once, since you have to manually select one card at a time.

You can also use Set Rentals in Splinterlands Main Page. Currently, you could rent Chaos Legion Full set and Riftwatchers Full set only. However, I think there will be future updates regarding this.

Set Rentals are really easy to rent, so I think it is going to be good for new players, especially during their first experience.

For example, this Chaos Set has ALL CL cards in Bronze level, and it costs around 120 DEC to rent per day. You can just click the RENT button above and start to play the game, if you are a beginner!

Card Renting - External Pages

You can also rent cards using external pages. One page that I use is Peakmonsters. You could use Peakmonsters to rent cards or SPS, and even buy cards.

In Peakmonsters, there is a feature called 'deck', and if you click on it, you can choose to create your own deck, or you can use decks that other users created.

If you click on decks, it looks like this. You can choose what cards to rent on the right side by clicking on the buttons. You can either choose to use Splinterland Main Site, Peakmonsters, or both.

SPS Renting

You can also rent SPS, and by renting SPS you can earn higher rewards from playing. At the Splinterlands main site showing SPS, you can click on the Manage button, which will show the amounts of SPS you are delegating and delegated.

When you click on the Market, you get a page looking like this. Then, you can make a bid on the market by requesting SPS. There, you can fill the info by how much SPS do you want to rent, and what price (around 0.002 for me currently). You can also split your bid into multiple bids.

Soulkeep Renting

Splinterlands also has a game called Soulkeep, which is a tower defense game. By clicking Market and Soulkeep Rentals, you could rent Towers, Spells and Heros that are required to play Soulkeep.

By clicking on cards, you can see how much it is for rent, and the stats. I prefer using Splinterland main site for Soulkeep because it shows the stat of this card, which is sometimes hard to do.
