Hello! This post is for Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today, I will be sharing one of my brawl battles. There is only one element available: Earth. Only Untamed and Chaos cards can be used in this battle, so it would be really interesting to see what cards will I pick.
Battle Info
Rank: Silver League, Wild (Brawl)
Avaliable Type: Earth
Mana: 46
Melee Mayham: Units can use melee attacks from any position.
Even Stevens: You can only summon units with even mana costs.
What Doesn't Kill You: All units have Enrage (+50% melee power and speed if not at full health, rounded up).
The ruleset had a big 46 mana limit, and also had 3 rulesets while only making Earth available for the elements. This is a brawl battle, so I could use another Gladiator in battle. Melee Mayham and What Doesn't Kill You supports a lot of melee attackers, which Earth has some of it such as Grund. Also, only Even mana cost units are available. Since strong Earth CL cards like Goblin Psychic, Grund and Quora(Gladiator) is all even, it doesn't really matter.
My Lineup
Summoner: Immortalis. For the Summoner, I chose Immortalis because Only Untamed and CL were available. A good alternative would've been Llama or Mylor, (Mylor actually is bad against Enrage), but those are really expensive... However Immortalis is also good with its -1 health, Void and Shatter. Only bad thing is that Void doesn't matter a lot with 2 melee buff rulesets, unless the opponent comes with a surprising lineup.
First position: Mycelic Infantry. For the tank, I went with Mycelic Infantry. It is a nice tank with 4 melee attack and Shield ability. I have used Immortalis + Mycelic Infantry a few times before to give Mycelic both Shield and Void. It is quite easy to do this now, though. The only downside is that it has low speed.
Second position: Grund. As already mentioned, I chose Grund for my second attacker. With 4 melee and Double Strike, it really deals high damage even with only 1 attack. The Enrage also is useful to buff Grund's heavy Melee attack.
Third position: Quora Towershead. The best Gladiator, Quora is at the third position. It is a solid card with double attack and heal, making it suitable in most mid to high mana battle when this card can be played.
Fourth position: Khmer Princess. This card is one of the few cards that I think is underrated in Untamed. With only 2 mana, it picks up Tank Heal at level 4, making Khmer a cheap Tank Healer.
Fifth position: Goblin Psychic. I picked Goblin Psychic for the fifth position. It is a really nice card to have, especially in Earth mirror matchup (or even Life or Water), with both Tank Heal and Affliction.
Last position: Queen Mycelia. Lastly, Queen Mycelia was chosen. This card is mainly for the Protect ability, by giving +2 armor to all friendly units. I also choose this unit to protect Goblin Psychic in case of an unexpected Sneak attackers.

Round 1
The enemy monsters were revealed and they went with Lobb Lowland - for the extra Glad - and choose Tatiana and Katrelba for the gladiators. They also went with Venari Knifer for tank, which can be bad for them since Thorns could Enrage my units. I feel kind of hopeful that there are no tank healers in their lineup.
After exchanging attacks in round 1, my units are able to take down their Tank, Venari Knifer. Sadly, it was not able to enrage my Grund. However, their second Tank Grund was at only 1 health, while my tank was healed back to full HP, losing Enrage. Katrelba also dealt severe damage, leaving Queen Mycelia at 1 HP.
Round 2
Round 2 started and Mycelic gets taken down, but luckily it soaks a high amount of damage by Shield ability, which is nice for me. Katrelba also takes down Queen Mycelia. After this, the game suddenly turned into my favor when their Grund on the other team gets taken down. Grund's double attack took down 2 units, and they only had Katrelba, which did really high damage but had low HP in contrast.
Round 3
Although Katrelba also got 1 more bloodlust buff my taking down Grund, Quora also got one and the double attack were easily able to take down their last unit. GG!
Thoughts about this battle
Again, they did not select Heal related units, and instead went with high damage units. However, they all had mid to low HP (except Grund), and after the first few units were taken down, the rest of their team collapsed.
Thanks!
