Greetings my fellow Splinterlandians. Things are looking spicy in the crypto world. BTC seems to be holding onto its $30k mark and some people are speculating that we are in a mini bullrun. SPS still feels a little soft at $0.028 but DEC is staying strong at $0.92 although it has come down from $0.98 just a few days ago. SPL is also a little spicy with the Mayweather lawsuit against Steemmonsters for breach of contract. Not too sure where that would lead to or would there just be a settlement. And the season is almost coming to a close with just over 2 days left. That means my next pack opening should just be a few hours before the bell for the season goes. Hopefully I make it back into Champs 2 by then and I can stop playing for a bit to let my Energy recharge.
Coming from the high of opening a GFL Summoner the last time, I had set my expectations to very low, but I was glad this wasn’t the case as it was a decent pack opening. This pack opening had a weird feel to it. I am not exactly sure how to explain it to you, but as I had done pack openings so many times, you get a feel of how many cards you expect to flip and this one felt really little. The Commons felt light to begin with, but when I check Peakmonsters, 71% of the cards were Commons, which is about right I think. I did get GF Commons, which is not bad. I did get 6 Rare Summoners and one of them is a GF Sloan! That’s pretty sweet when you get a GF Summoner. Only 2 Epic followed and 1 Legendary to flip. And it was a good one! Not a GFL but Queen Mycelia is an amazing card for 4 mana.
Again, only one card to choose from this time round and like the last opening, it’s from the Earth Splinter as well. Another Venari, this time the Venari Knifer coming up 6 times! Did anyone guess it? Or would we be giving out all 5 cards in the pool? Whoa…..the Venaris are not getting any love, so I guess we are going to have to use the Hive Random Winner Picker to decide this!
