Since joining the Splinterlands arena, Eternal Tofu's already made innumerable eternal friends. In this post I go over some of Tofu's best buds - those sisters & brothers in arms that love to fight alongside the big cat.
Grimbardun Smith

The Smith found a new friend with Tofu, unlocking all sorts of new "unkillable" modes. His favorite tactic is scavenger/triage, which enables him to rake up health which can then be healed by the likes of a Goblin Psychic or Venari Crystalsmith, among others. The extra health and thorns also provide much needed protection against Grim's arch nemesis, Venka.
Runi

Runi's a big fan of the cat, mostly due to mirror matches where Runi's reflection shield comes in handy. In addition, Runi's opportunity attack means that he can attack the back line in the case of a Grim Smith leading the charge in the opposing team.
Quora

The Queen of Splinterlands, Quora, found a new friend in Tofu as well. Scavenger/Triage pair extremely well with Quora, who can accumulate health which doesn't get removed by Dispel. In prolonged battles, this can turn Quora into an absolute beast as she rakes up HP, potentially even beating a Llama/Quora lineup (if there are enough units dying during the course of the battle).
Xenith Monk
https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sl_30fbfe7decab46ce1613104ce5e1261b
Xenith Monk pairs very well with Eternal Tofu thanks to his Void and Magic Reflect. Tofu lineups are highly susceptible to magic, so if you're expecting that the monk can help counter it. In addition, he's a good target for scavenger due to his heal.
Acid Shooter

Acid Shooter is one of the most used units alongside Tofu nowadays, and that's because of the Grim front-line lineup which makes it imperative to target the back line. Acid Shooter's scattershot achieves this, making him essential in many Tofu-to-Tofu mirror matchups, and also a good option if you think your opponent may pivot to Lily.
Stitch Leech

Now this is one that I wouldn't have thought to put on this list a month ago. Stitch Leech has become a real staple in Tofu lineups thanks to its Life Leech. Paired with Scavenger/Triage it works incredibly well, particularly in mirror matches.
Kralus (Wild)

Kralus can sometimes feel like a cheat code, and that was already the case before Tofu. Now there are definitely counters if you expect it, but the new pairing of Kralus with Tofu's scavenger/triage makes her a really fun play that can be extremely hard to kill. Put a Mana Warden behind Kralus to remove some potential counters.
Kron (Wild)

Kron's a similar play as Kralus, but with the bonus of Last Stand. Stick him in the back with scavenger/triage, giving it extra survivability as well as extra health by the time it hits the front. A lot of fun to play.
Honorable mentions
- Goblin Psychic/Venari Crystalsmith/Satha Toledo: These three, as well as all other tank healers in Earth/Life/Neutral are great to pair with Tofu to keep a tank (a la Grim Smith or others) alive as you target the enemy's back line.
- Bramble Pixie & Croire: These two, and particularly Bramble Pixie in my opinion, got a new breath of life with Tofu. Stick scavenger on them to watch them rake up Health that'll make their heals bigger as the match goes on.
- Queen Mycelia & Venator Kinjo: Amplifying the corrosive ward and thorns is what Mycelia and Kinjo love to do alongside Tofu. Mycelia has the added benefit of helping keep the backline alive and adding armor while removing the opponent's armor, but she's more squishy and an easier target to snipe by the likes of a Runi.
- Olivia: Olivia, aka the most entertaining card in the game, is a good friend of Tofu's, and will be an EXCELLENT friend (and foe) at max level due to her reflection shield. Before max level, she's a bit squishy in mirror matches due to thorns.
- Almo (Wild): Almo already reflects ranged and magic attacks, but with Tofu, just like Mylor, it gets the counter trifecta. Tons of fun to stick in the front with a few tank healers in the back.
What do you think? Did I miss any crucial pairings with Tofu? Let me know in the comments!
