What can I do after an undefeated performance?

🐲 Brawl Report 🐲

Coming off an undefeated Brawl I was hoping I didn't have a great let down and was aiming to stay on the positive side of the winning percentage. Brawls can be unforgiving with only a few battles to prove yourself. A couple of rulesets or mana counts that don't line up with your collection can torpedo the wins real quick. So how did I follow up an undefeated Brawl???

This was one of those weird Brawls where the mana counts and rulesets weren't terrible, but they all offered unique twists that caused me to set unusual lineups. This battle was a great example where I placed a bunch of meat up front just hoping to outlast my opponent.

Thaddius v Quix

Pun intended here, but it was an odd set of rules and mana count. I often enjoy using Tarsa for Melee Mayhem battles, but at 22 mana count, only odd cards available and an opponent that showed they preferred magic attacks I opted to go the Thaddius route.

CARD	WHY DID I CHOOSE IT?
	An unusual play for me. I don't own this card, but with no penalty for using F2P cards in Brawls I added it for some meat to give my back row magic attacks more time.
	Non attacking, but hopefully Dodge can buy more time for the back row.
	While my opponent seemed to prefer magic attacks, the melee mayhem ruleset makes Demoralize a safety play. Plus, the armor, melee attack and Trample may come in handy.
	One of my favorite Gladius cards with Life LEech and 2 magic attack
	Melee Mayhem allows Shade to attack from the back. For one mana it's almost a free 1 melee attack.
	Mmore Life Leech with 2 magic attack. No benefit of Bloodlust like Warwick, but still a strong play.

Not typical, but my pre-battle strategies actually worked perfectly 🤷‍♂ Demoralize was able to prevent my opponent's Carnage Titan from doing much damage. By the time my opponent was able to get through all of my road blocks up front it was too late. Life Leech had done its job and my back line was a force that couldn't be overcome.

Wow, the Calzones took our best finishing place in Tier 2 yet! Look at those rewards 😳 At this rate I'll be opening a Gladius case almost every week. These cards are going to become even more useful as the new rewards summoners are released. Being able to use Gladius cards in ranked battles is going to be a game changer. I expect that Brawls are going to become even more popular.

In anticiaption of using Gladius cards in ranked battles the RNG gods looked kindly on me this pack opening.
