I hope you'll having a wonderful day and getting some plans for the weekend, I just checked I did NOT post (and play) for at least 25 days which is Insane and never done since I joined the Hive Blockchain which is kinda sad. But as we go with the saying: it's never too late
Rise of The Commons
- Only common and rare units may be used in battles.
- Summoners don't take part in this ruleset
A pretty straight forward ruleset! No Legendaries and No Epic monsters in the field, only the Common ones to show their prowess.
In fact, there are lots of great Common Monsters that can match or even with a better potential than some legendaries cards in certain situations!
My favourite one would be DeepLurker
Insane stats and awesome set of abilities making it one of the best Water Card post Chaos Legion Expansion !
Enough of the theory talk, let's get rolling with this particular battle:
- High Mana Cap 37 Mana
- Water, Fire, Death and Dragons Available
- Explosive Weaponry + Rise Of the Commons
With this I have decided to go as follow:
Summoner
Ability: +1 Armor & +1 Speed
Both Water Summoners are extremely great given the high mana we have! Went for Kelya as it does provide with the much needed +1 Speed in addition to the extra protection against sneak/opportunity since we are probably running against a mirror match. Plus we are going for a mixture of damage this fight:
Tank Position
Ability: Trample + Enrage + Retaliate
A must-have Tank is it, and it keeps getting better until it reachs the MAX Level! Enrage synergizes well with Kelya buffs leading to even higher Speed, Trample for that extra attack after a takedown and last, Retaliate can deal some unexpected damage and proc Trample!
2nd Position
Ability: Opportunity + Poison + Demoralize
Similar to Diemonshark, Deeplurker gets a massive boost on the highest level (Level 10)! The combination of Opportunity & Poison are dealy as it almost lead to a Takedown on the 1st Round!
Demoralize is huge when facing a Melee-Heavy team composition or a Mirror Kelya Matchup that I'm expecting in this battle.
3rd Position
Ability: Tank Heal + Repair + Strenghten
Providing the Tank is with the much needed support:
- Tank Heal to restore the Health
- Repair to restore the Armor
- Strenghten to boost every monster's health to +1!
It's high speed is a factor that should not be neglected
4th Round
Ability: Flying + Sneak
One of the 3 Mana cards that was mistakenly put as a common card:
4 Melee Damage + its high evasiveness with its 6 Speed & Flying
Sneak allows to hit the target on the last position.
Well we use it to our advantage!
6th position
Abiltiy: Snipe + camouflage + Cleanse
An underrated Monster that can lead to the most unexpected kills. Sometimes, One shotting a Merdalii Guardian that keeps on healing the Tank or finishing the job of Deeplurker is crucial especially in early round! Firing from a safe Position thanks to Camouflage is huge against Sneak/Opportunity monsters!
Clease is a savior especially when the tank Diemonshark is afflicted with Poison / stun.

Pre Round 1
Tough Battle! Against a better version of Kelya: Lux Vega! and look at all these debuffs while I just provided the Demoralize :D
Round 1
- What an action packed round ! Unfortunately not the best round I could've had since my monsters withstood a lot of damage for the enemy team
- First Blood from the Enemy Deeplurker taking down Ally Deeplurker after the latter deal Poison to the Technomancer
- Until, Sea Stalker made fires a huge shot! One-shot the Scavo and leading to the recovery of my team's Armor while dealing 3 Damages to Enemy adjacent Units!
Round 2
- That Retaliate from the Diemonshark after Squid's attack is huge as it leads to dealing lots of damage to 3 Monsters!
- After Diemonshark got enraged, dealt its basic attack and left the Squid with a couple of Health Points
- Enemy Diemonshark Retaliates after getting enraged, luckily both my units survived,
- ANOTHER RETALIATE for Diemonshark!
- HUGE DAMAGE! Retaliate + Blast took down Both enemy Diemonshark and Squid
- Next is Trample leading to a DOUBLE KILL again on Deeplurker + Angelic Mandarin !
- More than 10 Damage this turn alone !
- Merdhampir seals the battle by taking down Enemy Pelacor !
This Marks the VICTORY for Sweet 1.5 SPS and +40 Trophies

After Battle Commentary
- I love battles with Explosive Weaponry Rulesets, Always a blast playing/watching them
- That insane Abilities combination on **Diemonshark makes these kind of incredible plays unfolds during the battlefield and the reason why this game is truly awesome to play!
