I was finally able to save enough Merits and bought another Gladius pack. I believed this was my third Gladius pack now? Well, no matter. The important thing is that I got to open another pack.
My previous two packs gave me some good Gladius cards but the best that I’ve gotten were rare cards. I’m not saying those cards are bad. On the contrary they’re really useful and won me some of my Brawl battles. But I want something much rarer, like say an epic, or perhaps, a legendary?
Well, everything is up to RNGesus but every pack hold a possibility so who knows? I might get lucky, right?
Anyhow, enough with the chit-chat, let’s see if luck is on my side this time around.
So the 1st card that I draw is Hugo Strongsword. A common card, it’s to be expected I guess? I mean, I rarely get anything good on the first draw.
So what do I say about this card? Well, for starter, its name is quite misleading since it only has one melee damage. Shouldn’t it be called Hugo Strongshield instead since it has the shield ability?
The 2nd card is Cutter Brieze, another card with a misleading name. I think Boomerang Brieze fits it better since he uses a boomerang.
So, Boomerang… I mean, Cutter Brieze is a really nice card. A one mana card that could attack in the range position. Sure it’s just one range damage but remember, this is a one mana card we’re talking here. Also, it’s a rare card which adds more to its value.
The 3rd card is another common card, Berthrol Gobson. I already have a copy of this card so there’s really not much I could say about it.
The 4th card is another copy, Krash Wanderford. It’s a good card but since Gladius card cannot be combined, it’s kinda useless. Kinda because I could still burn it for DEC, I think?
Anyway, I’m into the 5th card. I’m just hoping that it’s not another copy. Give me anything as long as it’s not a copy.
So then… open!
…And, it’s a legendary card! Alright, now that’s what I’m talking about!
Let’s see… Tatiana Blayde. Oh wow. It has both melee and range attack! This means that it could attack in any position. And if placed in the front position, it could attack twice since it has the close range ability. It’s quite speedy too with that five speed.
The downsides with this card are that it has low health so putting it in the very front is not a good option; also, that mana requirement is quite high. Yeah, it needed eight mana to be used but considering what it can do, it’s to be expected.
Overall, I’m quite satisfied with this particular pack as it gives me my first legendary Gladius card. Hopefully, I would be as lucky the next time I open another Gladius pack.
That’s all I have for now. Thank you for reading.
