What I wrote last time on this game rule:
I still very much have the life splinter as my go-to option especially since I maved my cards to max level since and also now have the Iziar as one of the overpowered Soulbound Reward Card.
For this battle, Life wasn't available so I opted for the Dragong splinter combined with earth which also works well with this rule. The other game rules were that all monsters get increased health and Melee can attack from any position.
Similar to my opponent, I opted for the Legionaire Alvar as the main tank as it was sure the reduced the Melee attack from the opponent and it was protected against Magic damage with the Void Armor. I followed that up with 3 good Melee attack cards in the Pelacor Mercenary which has self-heal and retalliate, the Carnage Tital (which has double attack), and the Brownie which probably was the most useful card as the low health weakness was neglected and the extra speed + inspire were pretty big. in order to further counter magic damage, I played the Mushroom Seer and to give some Armor Repair potentially countering Ranged attack I played the Centauri Mage in the back.
This turned into an easy win as my opponent only had a level 6 Summoner mainly focused on Magic which I had countered with my deck.
